After surviving the brutal tests of the utterly insane Professor Barrett our intrepid Five defeated the Mad Professor, with the help of the Half Orc Mylar, but not without great personal cost. Maelor is down and his body gone in a torrent of Acid. As the shock sets in what will our remaining Four Heroes do. Where are they? Who was the Professor working with? Where is the Agent? And how exactly are they going to “Escape from Necropolis”.
With Maelor accepting the Pact of the Griffin and returning to life with Strange New Powers, our once again Intrepid Five, followed the Path of Blood through the catacombs of Necropolis. Facing off against Cultists and Giant Grave Worms they hooked up with the Agent and the real Merrix D’Cannith, before finally reaching the abandoned Churchyard of Kol Korran. Seeing a revived Starrin D’Cannith take off into the Dawn, the remaining Cultists summoned a Great Beast from the Grave to take on our Party. Will they survive the fight ahead and defeat the Grave Golem before them? Will they be able to track Starrin; now identified as the force behind Sharn’s recent troubles? Will they finally rescue the real Merrix and receive their just rewards? And what awaits after the “Cauchemar Noir”?
PLEASE NOTE: We had a lot of technical issues on this episode with sound, we tried to fix the issue in post production but it just didn't work, sorry! Here's the episode in it's entirety so while you can hear the players you won't always be able to hear the DM - we learn by making mistakes and keep moving forward anyway :)
After surviving the harrowing battle with the last of the Cultists and their Summoned Beast in the Churchyard of Kol Korran, our Super Six looted the spoils and headed back to Sharn to take stock. Recovering from recent events in the compound of Merrix D’Cannith they will need to come to terms with the amount of time they lost in nightmare, the revelations within Starrin’s journal and what it means to have a personal shopper. What comes next for our Party? What are Merrix’s grand plans? Where is Satrrin and the Lord of Blades? And where will they all be “27 Weeks Later...”
After taking Merrix’s offer of long term Sponsorship our Super Six enjoyed a brief Sabbatical; taking time to seek out lost connections, explore their own personal interests and of course Shopping. When at last Merrix was ready to send them to deal with the increasing threat of the Lord of Blades he presented them with their new Vessel and Mission. Go to the Mourning, Destroy the 3 dimensional anchors, and take down the Demon Lord of Blades. Finding allies in old Friends our Super Six swell to a Terrifying Twelve and tag themselves “The Nameless”. Being thrust straight into action our Party must fight off the attacks of Enemy Airships and Clockwork Beasts. They must tour the Length and Breadth of the former nation of Cyre; seek out and destroy the Dimensional Anchors simultaneously. Will they survive the Clockwork Dragon? Will they each reach their assigned Destinations? And will the Vessel survive the harrowing run to make the “Special Deliveries”?
Our Super Six are on location and ready to begin their Assault on the Lord of Blades Lieutenants. With the mighty Clockwork Dragon already felled at Barren Keep, they must now explore Fort Bright and Metrol to find whatever monstrosities guard the Dimensional Anchors there; before launching the final Assault on the Lord of Blades himself. What demonic surprises are in store? What are the Dimensional Anchors? And where the hell do all those Webs go? Lets find out as we go “Breaking Shards”.
Episode 18 - All Things Must End... (GRAND FINALE!)
Having destroyed the Dimensional Anchors our Intrepid Six return to their Vessel – now on station at the secret D’Cannith Facility within the Mournland. They are met with an Army of Demonic Forces all intent on protecting their Master – the enigmatic arch enemy of our Story – The Lord of Blades. How will our Intrepid Six bypass the enemy Forces, Reach their Target and bring down the Demon turned Warforged? Do they even stand a chance as we all learn that ultimately “All Things must End...”
