I don't get it. It seems to only allow you to bet on one dinosaur. How would I handle multiple PC's betting on different ones? They can't all win/place.
I do not understand gambling, or the tables/system used in this module for betting.
The book does say that bets aren't just on whether or not the dinosaur wins. They can be for other placements, for a particular behavior, etc. It is still problematic, as there's a risk you'd have to retroactively what the bet was for, unless you insist that only one party member can bet on a dinosaur winning, and only one bet per particular place won....or I suppose there could be ties?

I think you can bet on different ones. In case two or more result to be winners, you can roll a d20. The highest roll is the real winner.
I don't think the book explains it. from what I remember I think they just leave it up to you if the party wants to bet on different ones

Roll 1d8 for big honker. 2-8 means he wins. if you role a one then roll for the next dinosaur and so on until you get the winner.
