I'm new to this community, but it seems pretty cool. Anyway, im in a bit of a drawing + giveaway mood, so if you have a cool/interesting looking character just post their design or description and ill attempt to doodle them for you if i feel like it. :V
Her name is Aya, she is twenty years old. So beautiful that even with her infernal blood and gray skin she attracts looks of desire. She have a dark short curly hair, that shines cause is so well treated. Her eyes are deep as the darkest night. Her horns along with the hair brings a sweet and wild aspect at the same time. Always with her violin on her back or playing and singing with her soft voice, her voice is beautiful as the singing of mermaids. But do not let the appearances deceive, because she has great abilities with the daggers, with an agility and ferocity she will defend herself.
Her wings are visibly bruised, as if someone had tortured her and ripped her wings, but she does not seem to care, her music seems to do all the things she suffered no longer exist. with several white tattoos that stand out on pale gray skin, but the one that draws most attention is a crescent moon turned down on his forehead with small circles to the eye. In all black robes his skin stands out even more, several runes tattooed on his arms in several different languages, show her vast knowledge.
On her waist several vials, which she uses to put poisons and potions, a forged snake-shaped dagger, which pairs with another dagger in her leg, which is hidden in her boot. the violin on his back also have a snake-shaped handle, made of a dark brown wood. In her horns and nose there are piercings in the form of rings. Intertwined in her neck, she possesses a beautiful albino burmese python which has been her companion since she left her egg.
Komu Cloudbrew Half-Orc Monk! Tall and Slender Komu has Pale Green skin and small tusk, barely protruding over his lip with a think beard, not long, but kept. Hair is dark black shaved sides, with the top tied back into a small ponytail. Eyes are Deep Blue, with a small scar over the right eye. His ears have small points like most Half-orcs, with piercings in both lobes and a cuff piercing in the top left ear. He wears simple monk robes similar to shaolin robes that are red, on top of a blue sleeveless tunic and blue pants with brown boots. A Large Blue rope is tied around his waist, similar to Zenyatta of overwatch, and a Large beaded necklace consisting of 12 large blue beads. Each wrist has it's own beaded bracelet, Left harm has a necklace of 108 beads wrapped around 5 times that are redwood and his right is 13 beads that are greenwood.
Since the time I was young I knew monsters and the world of magic existed. When I was 7 I had my first encounter. It was quiet at night but I heard something from under my bed. Next thing I knew I was pulled under and taken to a whole new world. I was thrown in a cage with other children just like me. There were witches that were planning on using us for a sacrifice in their ceremony. All of the sudden a team of warriors broke in and all hell broke loose. There was a great fight between the warriors and the witches but they didn't stand a chance. They rounded up all the witches and burnt them in front of our eyes. They opened the gate to let us all out and one by one took us back to where we belonged in the real world.
A few years had gone by and nothing like that had ever happened again. I got really curious and wanted to know more about the place and how to get there since it obviously wasn't coming to me. I had to deal with dark magic, things people in our society looked down upon. Eventually I came across a garage sale containing an ancient book dated to the 1300s from Europe. Apparently it was a book kept in the family but they were selling it since they thought someone else might enjoy it more than them. I spent the rest of my time that summer reading and experimenting. I learned magic but it required sacrifice from my part. I carried out a ritual from the book. I created the rift and was able to go back to the world. Something went wrong however and the moment I was sent through I was shot back with cuts all over my body. I began to cry out as searing pain flared up all across my body. My parents came in immediately and rushed me to the hospital, no one was able to figure out what happened and I couldn't remember.
I had forgotten all about the book and that night until I was moving out of my house and heading for college. I brought the book with me because something was nagging at me but I couldn't quite place it. When I got to my room I re-opened the book and began to read through it. This time all the knowledge rushed back inside me. I studied and memorized all the rituals in the book and was prepared to attempt a task I had failed and almost died attempting 8 years ago. I followed the ritual and this time successfully made it through. On this other side I came face to face with an imp. This time I was prepared though, I had practiced my rituals and attacked. The imp fell dead before my feet and I felt the excitement of my first kill mixed with pain from the scars I left on myself.
Since that moment I've been practicing and training for years, meeting stronger and more evil of foes, killing them to save the people from the real world. I became stronger and even made some friends with people I met in the magical world. Now I spend my time in the real world working my job and helping those getting jumped on the streets and my time in the magical world as a monster slayer. (kind of like a small-time superhero or vigilante I guess)
Character description:
Human (Male, Age - 28) - Blood Hunter
He has his blood infused with that of a werewolf (probably make him a tad bit more on the hairier side)
His out fit is like Hansel's from the movie Hansel and Gretel Witch Hunters with the exception that his clothes' colors are brown, dirty white, and black instead of a full black.
He stands 6'0" tall and weighs 150 pounds.
He dual wields rapiers, one of which glows when it's in the dark (the one on his right side).
He is German but you can see the dominant features have faded away with a mixed bloodline from being in America.
He has dark brown hair (Not short and not longer than 4 inches)
His skin is tan.
He has a periapt of wound closure around his neck (pretty important accessory since he is a blood hunter).
If you choose to draw him send me a PM if you need more details, I'd be happy to share!
I will give you a shot. I have an idea in my head (sort of like my profile avatar) but would love to see what you come up with :)
I grew up the son of an artisan woodworker in Neverwinter. My father was a preferred maker of fine furniture for many of the local nobles due to his craftsmanship. I apprenticed under my father starting as small child until I was skilled enough to become his lead woodcarver after many years learning directly from him. Once per year, I was responsible to travel into the forests with, Warrick, a local ranger and meet with the druids there to show us which trees our woodcutters were allowed to harvest. Warrick was the one who saw my raw skill with the sword and trained me when he could. We were required to plant twenty saplings for each tree we took in order to replenish the forest. The druids in return, would provide safe passing and protection within the forest for our woodcutting crew. My father always sent a chest along with me to give the druids. He would craft special wood items for them from the previous year’s lumber. Elaborate staffs, wood carved talismans, and other strange wood items. Never was anyone allowed to assist him with creating these items, and I never got a good explanation as to why the druids wanted him to craft them. Eventually, as a young man, I grew bored and restless. Along with my best friend Sten, we ended up enlisting in the military seeking more excitement than sawdust and splinters. Sten also worked at my fathers shop as a carpenter. My father, although disappointed in my choice, used his connections to get Sten and I stationed where there was good leadership. The rest, he said, was up to us. I rose to the rank of sergeant at a younger age than most, earning the respect of my men due to my capabilities. I also won some favor with my superiors and was given chances to prove myself. During a routine scouting excursion, my men were ambushed by some hill giants and orcs. They were led by ‘something’ else. Most of my men died when I chose to make a stand rather than order an organized retreat. Sten was also killed by one of the giants in a brutal fashion. Ever since I have a hatred for giants and am looking forward to the day when I can exact some retribution. I was hailed as a brave hero for beating back the enemy long enough for reinforcements to arrive and force the enemy back into hiding. I felt responsible for losing so many men that followed my orders. Sten’s death will haunt me til my dying breath. I left the service when my term was up and went back home to work again with my aging father. Even though I enjoyed being a craftsman, I soon found myself bored once again. I needed something more to feel alive. I was not going to grow old in this town doing the same thing year after year. Even the guilt of him telling me he has no other heir to hand the business to could make me stay. I packed my bags, said my goodbyes and hopped on a ship. I have occasionally found work as a leader of merchant guards. Primarily, I make my living as a skilled woodworker within the local guild. I’ve been on a couple adventures over the past 2 years or so. I really enjoy the thrill of going into the unknown and meeting interesting people who want more than ‘settling down’. I have as of yet to find a group that I like working with on a permanent basis...yet.
My name is Arkon, and am a human male, 5’11, 180 lbs. I have straw colored blond hair, hazel eyes and fair skin. I have a scar of a burn on my left shoulder that creeps up into my neck area. I keep my hair and beard trimmed short. I smirk more than smile, as if I know something that you would like to know. My clothes are more functional than fashionable. I look like a Northman/Viking as far as facial features go.
PM me the sketch if you feel like taking a shot at this...and thank you!
I would love this! I know there isn't much description but I want to see what you come up with. I have a Cleric Halfling, Wizard Dragonborn, and a Bard Dragonborn.
Private message me if you want to do this. Need any more detail? Also Private message me for that
This is probably already over and done with, but since somebody else revived the thread I’m gonna post as well. I’m a DM, so this isn’t exactly a PC that I’m using, but she is a well-loved recurring NPC in my game.
Her name is Lady Marie, and she is a human cleric. She is relatively young, around 16 years of age, and is being groomed to be the next leader of her temple. She has blue eyes and dirty blonde hair, and fangs protruding from her bottom lip that belie just a bit of orc blood somewhere in her heritage. She is always wearing the robes of her temple, which are white with blue and gold accents. A large, billowing hood on her robes is more often thrown off of her head than it is worn like the rest of the temple asks her to.
She is determined to avoid the ‘boring’ temple life and to go out adventuring, and thus is very headstrong and confident. She carries with her an enormous maul with which she swings into battle. She’s almost always got some cocky smile on her face, and she tries her best to never show what she thinks to be a weaker side of her. Despite her best efforts though, she still finds herself looking up to all of the adventuring party whenever she’s with them, oftentimes being brought to awe and wonder over what they can do.
