MAN I'm super diggin' that first Dragonborn critter.
I do love doodling my characters! ^__^ I doodled my long-term 3.5 neutral good gnome druid Tryndalion Littlefish (and her Dire Bat companion) during a session a couple years back; I keep meaning to finish/color it but I never have gotten around to it.
I also tried more recently to make something like a token for a new character, Sparrow the chaotic good half-elf rogue. I want to make a more detailed portrait for her, but the one I managed to do looks terrible so I'm re-working it xD

O: Doesn't look terrible at all, the colored version looks freakin awesome!!
Thank you so much! <3 I'm eternally on the fence about my own doodles, it's nice to hear nice things xD
I did finally manage a more detailed picture of Sparrow, following her dramatic death and return to life as a Revenant, pictured here with her new buddy Arawn the God of the Dead (as described by our DM) <3 Line-art's a little janky, and I might wanna fix it at some point, but all in all I'm relatively pleased with how it turned out, and want to paint deer-skulls on everything forever.
No I don't think they're terrible either LB, I do see the same mistakes I made when I first started drawing characters, so I can see why you would think that, but making mistakes is how we learn to do better next time. Also, she is a very cool looking character ;)
Those look awesome everyone. I love seeing different people's characters . . . I started a rough sketch of my Wood Elf Cleric that I am making . . . She focuses holy energy through her bow and shoots it like arrows for flavor. Her name is Briella . . . gotta add color to this and clean it up.
It looks beautiful so far! =D She looks like such a pretty character, wow <3
Thank you ^^ <33 Trying to make her look elfy xD Loving how yours looks too the deer skull turned out super nice.
Thank you! <3 <3
Also I don't want to... ahh, completely hijack this thread by gushing over ALL THE THINGS but I have huge a soft spot for kestrels, which I think Aral is based on? She looks amazing! =D
I have several more images I've drawn of Coati. This little comic was from the first night I played her. The other party members were having a meeting in a Ramen Bar and Frizlarg (the goblin) and their dwarven party member noticed a large... feathered dragon slumped over the counter:
I had a lot of fun playing Coati but sadly the campaign I created her for disbanded (as so many do) so I never go to take her over Level 6
This was another design I'd done for Pleasant Rain. Her design is based off of the African Caracal Cats
This is my newest character (the one I'll be playing for the first time this weekend) who is also my first Human / Fighter and Im excited to get to know Brydi better!
This is my character, Damaia !! Because I can never have enough flamboyant bards. I've only recently gotten into D&D so he's my first character. I'm really enjoying it so far 💖
My Barbarian character. She's a queen, but her name is King.
I was going for a sort of 'Leadership gained by virtue' kind of thing where she was elected to rule due to her victory on the battlefield. She's very much a people's queen, akin to Ezekiel from The Walking Dead.
I'm probably going to get a few evil glares, but I have an art project that I have only being doing in dribs and drabs, that is a comic/Manga based upon the 80s Dungeons & Dragons animated series... yeah I know, that show, however I do like the show and of course understood the criticism from the game fans, so whilst keeping in the same direction of the series, I decided to introduce as many elements from the game as possible, cue lots of game handbook purchases. Recently I kicked myself back into gear and have started getting back to drawing it, but first, I have been writing the stories out, rather than leaving them in my head, not the best place to leave them, however in a future issue, I wrote one of the characters, Sheila, getting turned into a vampire... sort of! I won't go into full details of how, but she ends up neither vampire or human, just somewhere in between. Anyway, here is Sheila, on her progression from human to vampire-human:
Art doesn't have to be by you, as long as you credit the original artist/art. It can totally be something you found online and edited.

I'd just like to point out that there's already a thread for this.
