Thanks for the clarification. I don't own ToA and I couldn't find this information anywhere. The way it was explained at the start of our game was 'when you hit zero hp you can't be brought back'. I thought that was pretty harsh, especially for level 1 characters where nobody knew what the others were making at the start....our party is pretty squishy.

New player to AL, played my second week yesterday but I'm not sure I understand the death curse.
Is my character gone when I hit zero HP or do I get my normal death saves before it takes effect?
Death Saving throw are as normal.
