After playing Pathfinder Society for the past few years, I'm looking at starting up a D&D club at my son's middle school. I'm considering using the Adventurers League content, to have a supply of pre-written modules, but also so that the kids could go to conventions and play their characters with other folks seamlessly.
I've read the Player’s Guide (v12.1), Dungeon Master's Guide (v11.0), Forgotten Realms FAQ (v11.1), and various other material.
One thing I'm just not finding is how, if at all, AL events are "reported" to WotC or some central authority. As far as I can tell, a game organizer purchases an AL module from the DM's Guild, runs it, helps players fill out their handwritten logsheets, and that's it. The fact that a table of certain players played a certain module on a certain date is recorded nowhere other than on each player's logsheet.

Am I missing something?
Many thanks!
No. The Log sheet is the authority. Download a good logsheet and make copies. Missing something Yes. Since it is a school. See this for educators. Educator Resources | Dungeons & Dragons (wizards.com)
No Gaming is Better than Bad Gaming.
