Maybe I'm just waaay overthinking this and being too literal-minded... but here's my question anyway...
Are there any AL rules that would restrict whether or not a character can begin a new AL adventure based on their geography? Can a character begin an adventure that takes place in a location that's impossibly far from the location where they ended their last location?
For example. If I have a character who finished their last adventure at Moonsea, and received an allotment of only 10 days of downtime, but wanted to start an adventure that takes place in Baldur's Gate, is that fair to do? If so, would it make more sense for me to stretch the number of downtime days (but give myself no advantages or other downtime actions) to allow for travel? Or, do folks just hand-wave it away and say they got to their next adventure's starting location via "magic"?

DM - Origins - A Level Zero Adventure
DM - Dragons of Stormwreck Isle
The Forge of Fury - Lehmani (L3 Tiefling Cleric, Forge Domain)
Wild Beyond the Witchlight - Fa'amae(L2 Shadar-kai Druid, Circle of the Spores)
Greyhawk -Tilliman Treewick Toadswaddler the First (L1 Gnome Rogue)
AL doesn't keep track of continuity between locations of your adventures.
Characters can play an adventure in Mulmaster, then a Spelljammer season one on a different planet then a Wild Beyond the Witchlight season adventure on a Fae plane followed by another adventure in Waterdeep or anywhere else in the Forgotten Realms campaign to be honest.
Downtime days earned by the character are not spent on the travel time between these locations so you can imagine whatever mode of transportation you like is carrying you from place to place and however long you want it to take (teleportation, magic, horse, caravan ...). Fluff/story is free :) ... as long as you don't change mechanics you can explain how you get from one adventure to the next however you like.
The downtime earned is over and above whatever is required in your story to move between adventures. AL allows you to spend downtime days on a specific selection of activities, though you can also use 10 downtime days to level up.
