I need help controlling my players from walking away from the table in the middle of combat. they stay in the game but it is starting to get annoying when they finish playing video games be for combat is over. Any advise?
If your players can't focus enough on the game to not play video games during combat, they probably shouldn't be playing D&D. It could be partially based on your DMing talent, but it's definitely mostly the players' problem.
I have ADD and i sometimes if find myself on my phone during sessions cause i lose focus on the game. But i would never load up a video game and start playing it at table , that's just bad player behavior
Talk with your players to see how they feel , see if their a way you can include them more in the non-combat roleplaying sessions. If nothing can be done than maybe D&D is not the game they want to be playing
Something I do in my campaign is anytime someone says slang( like 67) or is being annoying I roll a die such as 1D10 and say I make it where if its 5 or above they lose then I take copper away if they have no copper then I will take silver, then gold then platinum if they have no money they start losing equipment or treasure and if they have absolutely nothing they start losing hit points pretty much what I'm saying is any time your players are on there devices (for no good reason) then do what I do and just start taking things you could also roll and based on that roll decides how bad of a thing will happen to them.
In doing this they will be hesitant to go on there devices as to keep there stuff and HP.
You could also make it where the stuff does not just completely vanish but more like they dropped there money or there equipment and treasure or maybe they stubbed there toe and lost hit points.

I don't know if it's me being boring or them being hard to handle

Have you tried talking to them about it yet?
Here's a nifty flowchart, hope it helps.
