A new adventure for Ravenloft. A fallen angel turned devil protects an ancient portal to the Plane of Orcus. In order to defend it against demonic forces, she entices adventurers into defending the portal with items of great power. What the characters don't know is that the items she gives them are wholly evil and the longer they use them, the more corrupt the characters become. As the lines between good and evil blur, the characters must decide which is the more sinister force: the demons trying to take the portal or the devil trying to defend it.
Interesting hook, fallen angels make for interesting bedfellows.

"Where words fail, swords prevail. Where blood is spilled, my cup is filled" -Cartaphilus
"I have found the answer to the meaning of life. You ask me what the answer is? You already know what the answer to life is. You fear it more than the strike of a viper, the ravages of disease, the ire of a lover. The answer is always death. But death is a gentle mistress with a sweet embrace, and you owe her a debt of restitution. Life is not a gift, it is a loan."
