I'm trying to figure out what module to run for holiday one year I ran a one-shot in ebberon were a warforge that was supposed to be santa malfunctioned and went on a killing spree. I'm trying to  think  of  something this  year it has to be funny and appropriate  for kids but make  adults  laugh to.

Re-watch the Futurama Xmas episodes for inspiration? 

Lol that  was my inspiration  for last year I'm asking   for new and different ideas. 

Any idea what level it's gonna be at? 'Cause the first thing to come to mind was a mall elf that turns out to be a real elf approaches the party for help because Krampus(a reskinned Oni) has kidnapped Santa and a rescue mission starts.

Maybe for something goofier, Santa's passed out in an eggnog induced stupor and it's up to the party, his helpers, to organize everything and make the deliveries. Have them negotiate with the stubborn reindeer, tinker with and try to figure out how to get his sled to work, maybe somebody gets lost in the bag of holding he carries toys in, maybe they have to successfully sneak presents into the first couple houses before it becomes routine.

Couple years ago I downloaded an apple pie thing from the list of free modules   I just changed all the references of apples to cookies and it became the Holiday Cookies caper kind of thing.

I ran a holiday one-shot last year we’re the party we’re all playing under 12s. They were invited upon the polar express, and drank hot chocolate in between fending off wolves and yetis. Then one of them snuck into the back carriages and discovered that the staff were all devils in disguise who were going to drive the train full of children through a portal and into the mouth of their god. Though not before they’d skinned and eaten the juiciest ones themselves of course. The rest was a horror-esque nightmare fuel as the party tried to fend off the encroaching monsters. So much fun.

It was inspired by just how uncanny valley that frickin’ film looks. I mean, man.
