Hey all, I am a dm and just recently heard about gestalt rules. I know they aren't in 5e but wanted to try it in my campaign. If anyone knows how I would translate it to 5e and/or incorporate it in my campaign on dndbeyond, It would be a huge help and greatly appreciated.
Sorry to say there isn't a way to do so as far as I know unless you want to do paper character sheets and avoid beyond for anything more than the encounter builder (as you can do manual entry for health, initiative, ac, etc.) and source material review
My only memory of “gestalt” within D&D was with a 3.5 option to give players more power by effectively leveling up 2 classes simultaneously for a single player. This was intended to help make a group feel larger than it actually was. Are you talking about this or something else?
