I really like what you've done here, well what I've read of it. Have you ever heard of The Vanishing Village - an adventure published in Dungeon Magazine 19? I think Marcus Rowland was on to something and have always been surprised that TSR didn't produce a splatbook building on it.
could you make a D&D mimic humaniod pls im trying to make one i call it the mimic-oid
How would a mimic be humanoid? They are, by definition, shapeless.

Look at what you've done. You spoiled it. You have nobody to blame but yourself. Go sit and think about your actions.
Don't be mean. Rudeness is a vicious cycle, and it has to stop somewhere. Exceptions for things that are funny. Go to the current Competition of the Finest 'Brews! It's a cool place where cool people make cool things.

For most of them, I just photoshopped mimic eyes, teeth, and pseudopods onto photos or illustrations of objects. Some of them, like the one WatBot12 posted was drawn by someone else, and all I did was make a transparent render of the image. My haphazard method of "just grabbing whatever seems to fit" is one of the primary reasons I warn people not to use what I post here in any supplement they plan to charge for, and why I won't bother to put together a publication of my own.
Not that it much matters anymore: about a year after I started this thread, Mage Hand Press came out with their own Mimic Book of Mimics, which explores things I never did: like character options.
any chance i can get more information on the mimics you didn't describe much or can i just take artistic freedom and run with it because one of my special interests are mimics and i like to commit acts of dm terrorism on my players when they have been annoying me to much

Are you looking for a doppelganger?
There was the amimic a while back. A mimic that feeds on other mimics by mimicking a humanoid.

Also I'm asking this because I did not read the whole book sorry
I haven't made any official deity, but the Dungeon Master comes pretty close. It's a map with stats.
