I will like to run a campaign for a group of novices using only the 2024 PHB plus artificer rules. I do not mind third party (currently playing Call of the Deep and Dungeons of Drakkenheim and I‘m having a blast) or anthology, and don’t have too much time at ha do to create a homebrew. Which one you will recommend me and why?
Honestly, I rather enjoyed Rime of the Frostmaiden. If you are looking for warmer adventure climate, Tomb of Annihilation is also fun. If you ae more into a city adventure, Waterdeep Dragon Heist is fun and rolls nicely into Dungeon of the Mad Mage.

Unless someone really wants to play artificer I don't think I would allow it. The class ino needs work because of weapon Mastery.
As far as campaigns go, Phandelver seems fun and the first part was initially an intro adventure.
Thanks guys, I’ll check out Dragon Heist, the idea of a beholder crime boss sounds amazing!! My friend just told me about Rise of the Drow being good too so I will take a look as well.
Start here and see what part your players enjoy more. Then we can see if there is a campaign that fits their interests and yours that can retrofit a hook from the adventure.

I agree. I wouldn't allow artificer either. I was considering giving the class a weapon mastery, but I think its best to just not allow the class for now.. I would also recommend Phandelver.

Has anyone got a good campaign for a beginner DM?
