What has been the craziest thing your players ever did that you allowed? For me, I was running a one-shot based on the new 'Book Of Many Things' and was running the 'House of Cards' dungeon when my player said he draws 21 cards from the 'Deck Of Many More Things'. He did it within the hour! Surprisingly he didn't pull the void card (although drawing the end one of my players did draw it).
Put ring of fire resistance on a dwarf, covered him in oil and our Goliath threw him into a mob of trolls. He had ring of feather fall so he floated down in their midst and went to town with his axe
The craziest thing I had my players do (I hadn't read the book ahead of time, so I ended up flubbing the whole session) so I was running a curse of strahd campaign, and the book directed me to tell them to go to barovia, and that's what I did. Then, I put them in strahd's castle, which was for ninth level players. The only excuse I have for myself is that I'm a beginner dm.
I was running a campaign that took place in a school for wizards. One of my players attempted to assassinate the principal of the school during the "welcome to Hogwarts" style speech
I'm just your everyday dungeon master. Ignore that jar full of souls. And those bones in the corner are just props, don't worry. I'm definitely NOT a lich. Definitely.
