I wondered if anyone here has any experience or recommendations for duet play. I’ve been DMing for a few years but my best friend is only just considering joining but has a bit of social anxiety and asked if we could do a one on one one shot to help her get the hang of the rules before joining an actual campaign. I’ve never done a duet before so not sure where to start out of the hundreds that come up on DM’s Guild
Thanks for the recommendation, funnily enough that's exactly the one I went for in the end so glad to hear it's good. Not run it yet but reading through it you're right, it does a really nice job easing someone into the rules of the game bit by bit. I'm looking forward to running it

You might try "First Blush" on DM's Guild. I had good experiences with it, when a friend of mine wanted to try a Duet as a novice player.
It has the added benefits of being also an introduction to D&D as a whole, and can be expanded with two follow-up adventures for up to level 4.
