I have a simple, yet very important, question. Is there a way or is there a tool or a notification setting where I, as the DM , can be alerted if one of my players makes a change to his/her character sheet? Perhaps changing a feat or adding an item to inventory - or anything else that they may do in between game nights? I'm not concerned with cheating (at least not at this point), but I'd like to know if my players are making alterations between game nights so I can evaluate if those actions are in concert with what went on in the game and that it's all above board.
Is that a thing? Please let me know ASAP as I'm running a new campaign beginning tomorrow night. Thanks so much for your insight!!
It's a shame this doesn't exist. One would have to believe that it would be an easy thing to program - a general "if/then" scenario. But hey, it seems as if WOTC is more fixated on changing the rules every so often to sell books than doing anything to truly assist DM's.
Export the character sheet to pdf (under manage) and that's the authoritative copy. However, if you're not concerned with cheating... just tell them not to make changes like that.

If they are not cheating, what is the issue? If they are cheating, you need stricter guidelines then a notification if the sheet changes. Your request is adding a functionality that has no need to exist. As to your "or it is easy to do" Nothing is easy to program, because any change has "ripple" effects.

No, there is nothing like that built into D&D Beyond.

Best I could come up with when I had this problem was Taking screen shots of character sheets to compare as needed.
