I am so excited for your next releases. Monster variants are GREAT - more Mindflayers and Beholders, please!
Ok, I'll do those. I'm worried my monster variants will be less good than everybody's hoping (I'm really not great at monsters). Also, there not monster variants, but monster adaptations (extra features to add onto monsters for flavor). I can make monster variants too though!
We reached the first two feedback goals, so I'll work on creating them. I should have them done tomorrow.
It'll be chains of avernus racial feat for tieflings and the shadow patron for warlocks.
Shadow Patron? Might be a bit of competition if I continue with a few of my secret Note Installments for November... wink wink spoilers may the worst one win, because that means I win by default!

Your doing a shadow patron too? Well, I guess I'm exited to see how you do yours! (Yours will probably be better).
Candlekeep's Secret BONUS Scrolls 2: Chain of Avernus and The Shadow
Chains of Avernus*
Prerequisite: Tiefling
You have become accustomed to calling upon your dread, infernal powers. As an action, you can choose a creature within 30 feet of you. That creature must make a wisdom saving throw with DC equal to 8 + your proficiancy bonus + your charisma modifier. On a failed save, infernal chains grow around the creature, trapping it. The creature is restrained while chained in this way. At the end of each of it's turns, the creature repeats the save. On a success, the effect ends. On a failure, the creature takes fire damage equal to half your level (round down).
You can use this feature once, regaining use after after a long rest.
Your patron is a powerful shadow, darkness incarnate. Your patron is an elusive master of deception, stealth, and magic. Shadow's are rarely seen, and rarer still interacted with. They stay hidden, not letting anyone know of their location.
Warlocks of The Shadow gain some of their patrons traits, and become a master of stealth. They becomes wielders of shadow magic, unseen and undetected.
Expanded Spell List
The Shadow lets you choose from an expanded list of spells when you learn a warlock spell. The following spells are added to the warlock spell list for you.
Starting at 1st level, you can jump between shadows like you patron. As a bonus action on each of your turns, you can teleport a number of feat equal to 10 your proficiency bonus, to an unoccupied space you can see. Both the space you teleport from and the space you teleport to must be in dim light or darkness.
You can use this feature a number of time equal to your proficiency bonus, regaining spent uses after a long rest.
Living Shadow
At level 1, you become a living shadow, somewhere between humanoid and your patron. You gain a number of shadow weaving points equal to your level. Spent shadow weaving points are regained when you finish a long rest.
As an action, you can transform into your shadow from, granting you the following benefits, Which last a minute, you until you dismiss it as a bonus action:
You can take the hide action as a bonus action while in dim light or darkness.
You gain a darkvision of 120 ft. This increases to unlimited range at level 14.
You are considered proficient in stealth. Additionally, you ca add twice your proficiency bonus instead of the normal once to any checks made stealth.
To do this, you must expend a shadow weaving point.
Adept Illusionist
Beginning at 6th level, you become as master of crafting illusions. You learn the minor illusion cantrip. It counts a warlock spell for you, but does not against the number of warlock cantrips you can learn.
Additionally, you can shape illusions out of shadows themselves. When you cast an illusion spell of 1st level or higher, you can choose to weave it out of shadows instead of expending a spell slot. To do this, you must expend a number of shadow weaving points equal twice to the level at which you cast the spell. The cost of shadow points is reduced by 1 to a minimum of 0 if you are in dim light or darkness.
Dread Ambusher
At 10th level, you are dreaded for your power of surprise. When you make an attack roll against a creature that is surprised, you can have an advantage on the attack roll.
Additionally, when you hit a creature with an attack roll or damage a creature with a spell, you can force the creature to make a wisdom saving throw against your spell save DC, becoming frightened of you for a minute on a failed save. At the end of each of a creature frightened of you in this way's turns, they can repeat the save, ending the effect on a success. You can do this once between short rests.
Flicker
Starting at level 10, you can flicker in and out of existence like your shadowy patron. When you are targeted by an attack, you can use your reaction to teleport into the ethereal plane. At the start of your next turn, you teleport back into the material plane. You can use this feature once, regaining use after a long rest. If you have expended your use of this feature, you can expend 3 shadow points to use it again.
Master of the Shadowfell
When you reach level 14, you become a master of weaving shadows. When a creature becomes frightened of you, you can expend a number of shadow weaving points up to your charisma modifier. The creature takes 1d8 psychic damage, plus and additional 1d8 psychic damage for every shadow weaving point expended.
Additionally, when you use your shadow jump feature, you can cast an illusion spell as part o the same bonus action or become invisible for a round. To do this, you must expend a shadow weaving point.
Your darkvision granted to you by being in your shadow form's range in increases to unlimited.
Your patron is a powerful shadow, darkness incarnate. Your patron is an elusive master of deception, stealth, and magic. Shadow's are rarely seen, and rarer still interacted with. They stay hidden, not letting anyone know of their location.

You can use your shadow jump feature a number of time equal to twice your proficiency bonus, instead of once.
Your darkvision range you have while transformed in in shadow from increases to unlimited.
I have to agree with shadow being a bit bland. It feels like a warlock subclass more designed for a rogue than a warlock in terms of synergy. It's good though. I think something more akin to what I would think a shadow warlock would be is a bit of stealth, but also some illusion enhancement to make illusions stronger. A lot of illusion spells have pulling together weaves of the shadow fell and I think having some aspects of the subclass dedicated to something similar would be cool.
I do very much like Chains of Avernus. Very flavorful and cool! :D
Thanks for the feedback, stuffattackknightofrandom and _Nano!
People are agreeing that shadow is bland, so I'll change it. How about a making new 6th and 14th level abilities?
I fell like you just need to make it less roguish. I feel like if you want extra surprise damage, expertise and bonus action hide you should just multiclass rogue.
This isn't actually a signature, just something I copy and paste onto the bottom of all my posts. Or is it? Yep, it is. Or is it..? I’m a hobbit, and the master cranial imploder of the "Oops, I Accidently Destroyed Someone's Brain" cult. Extended sig. I'm actually in Limbo, it says I'm in Mechanus because that's where I get my WiFi from. Please don't tell the modrons, they're still angry from the 'Spawning Stone' fiasco. No connection to Dragonslayer8 other than knowing them in real life.
I think it is a cool Idea, but a lot of the features are taken from other subclasses, and it is a bit bland. shadow jump is basically an underpowered shadow step, and ambusher is straight from assassin overall a good Idea, but it is not that interesting, and similar results can be achieved by multi-classing assassin rogue with gloom stalker ranger and maybe way of the shadows monk.
We reached the first two feedback goals, so I'll work on creating them. I should have them done tomorrow.

this is the most awkward exchange of compliments I have seen in awhile.

Awkward is my middle name. And anyway, I only may be doing it... but it is less likely now, as I don't usually attempt to recreate things others have done. I had an awful problem naming and making a reason for my Shaman class... I ended settling on the least worst name, and I still feel it kicks rangers, druids and warlocks...
I've made a similar thread. Is that OK?

I am so excited for your next releases. Monster variants are GREAT - more Mindflayers and Beholders, please!
Also, I am a potions LOVER so that is making me more excited than reasonable.
As to your question, Blue Panther, it's probably fine - I have seen many other threads like this, such as my very terrible/tarrasquey Notes

It's definitely much better now with the shadow weaving points as it gives a unique playstyle! Feels much more like a shadow warlock! :D
It kinda also gives a bit of a sorcerer vibe from it with shadow weaving points, but that's not a bad thing as none of the abilities are really taken.
the new shadow warlock is amazing and very strategic will most likely play it at some point.
