It traps all creatures in the area of the 30 ft cube are trapped for an hour with no means of escape, if they fail the initial save. This is more powerful than any other 5th level spell.
As written, you could cast this and your party could fire arrows and cantrips at those trapped within and there's nothing the trapped can do. And they can't end it by hurting you and making you lose concentration since they're charmed by you. It also seems to work on any creature, even those that would not be able to understand or be entertained by any play, like low Int beasts.
I'd include two clauses: doesn't affect creatures with an Int score of 3 or lower. And if any creature charmed by this effect takes damage the spell ends for them. I would also clarify where the illusion actually is. You specify 120 ft range 30 ft cube, so you target a point in space and a 30 ft cube centred on that point is the spells area of effect - does the illusion fill this space or are the charmed creatures in this area - and if the latter, where, then is the illusion? This should be clear.
Beyond this, I love the flavour of it.

I did read it.
The Charmed condition does not end automatically on receiving damage. Some spells do add this, but this is part of that spell not inherent to the charmed condition. This spell does not have any detail of the charmed condition ending by damage.
