This isn't actually a signature, just something I copy and paste onto the bottom of all my posts. Or is it? Yep, it is. Or is it..? I’m a hobbit, and the master cranial imploder of the "Oops, I Accidently Destroyed Someone's Brain" cult. Extended sig. I'm actually in Limbo, it says I'm in Mechanus because that's where I get my WiFi from. Please don't tell the modrons, they're still angry from the 'Spawning Stone' fiasco. No connection to Dragonslayer8 other than knowing them in real life.
Well, this feat actually does nothing. Insight checks are normally already oposed to deception, either passive or active depending on the situation and the DM's call, wich means that people don't have to use their reaction. Giving another creature a reaction option is already strange, but making *you* have advantage on the check if they *do* use *their reaction* to try to deceive you better is bonkers. Also, on the third part, if both have advantage, then it's the same as rolling normally. It makes no sense at all

Point one: This specific use is not pointed out in the rules, not a good point, but still a point
Point 2: You automatically succeed if they don't use their reaction (or can't)
Point 3: The reaction is suppose to represent someone trying to hide their emotions
Points 4: The feat gets pretty clear here, you have advantage on the insight check, nothing says they get advantage on the deception
And this is only one of 3 effects of the feat, and I have stated several ways just this part is useful.
So Know that I have fought every part of your argument, got anything else to say.
Fixed it, by the way.
