I plan to start a new Campain that will be heavy into dragons (yes I am waiting on my copy to come lol.) Since It will be a small party of only 3 players I was think of giving them each a free feat at level 1. They can chose a Racial feat or this Dragon Runt Feat.

Dragon Runt Feat

You have bounded with a Dragon Runt when it hatches. The Dragon has latched onto your life force as it is to small and weak to live on its own. When you take this feat you must pick what type of dragon it is as it determines it energy attack and Immunity. The dragon stats are below and I took insperation from the Artificer Infusion. Like them you must use a bounse action for it to attack.

STR4 (−3) DEX15(+2) CON12(+1) INT10(+0) WIS10(+0) CHA7 (−2)

Saving Throws Dex +2 plus PB

Runt Dragon Pet

Tiny Dragon

Armor Class 11 (natural armor)+ PB

Hit Points 1 + 5 per level (HD D8 for short rest)

Speed 20 ft., fly 30 ft.

Skills Perception +0 plus PB × 2, Stealth +2 plus PB

Damage Immunities Energy type

Senses darkvision 60 ft., passive Perception 10 + (PB × 2)

Languages: languages you speak

Evasion. If the Dragon Runt is subjected to an effect that allows it to make a Dexterity saving throw to take only half damage, it instead takes no damage if it succeeds on the saving throw, and only half damage if it fails. It can’t use this trait if it’s incapacitated.

Actions

Breath attack: Range Weapon Attack: 2+PB modifier to hit, range 30 ft., one target you can see. Hit:1d6 + PB element damage.

Bite attack: Melee Weapon Attack: 2+PB modifier to hit, One target for 1d8+PB percing (min 1)

Reactions

Channel Magic. The Dragon Runt delivers a spell you cast that has a range of touch. The dragon Runt must be within 120 feet of you.
