I'm experimenting with homebrew content for the first time and I'm creating a species with 4 options. But I don't know how I can get it to show up like Genasi for example bc each time I try the options only show up in the character creator and not the main species at all.
I want it to look like
and not like this
What do I have to add to the main species or change about the options?

My advice would be to create a race that is generic and covers all of the homebrew races, and then list the already existing homebrew races as subraces of the generic race. For example, if you wanted to make different kinds of fiendish races but have them all under one banner, you could put Fiend as a race and then have the subraces be like Demon, Devil, etc.

Thank you for your reply ut how do I mark them as a subspecies? :)

I'm not actually quite sure. Try checking if the generic race will allow you to give it subspecies that are species you have already created. The way homebrewing works, it is equally like to work as to require you to remake your races. I'm not a professional homebrewer.

Just to save y'all the trouble, you cannot have the homebrew subspecies be nested under the homebrew species the way official stuff are.
You can make a subspecies of an official race and do it but not for homebrew species. That has never been a thing and is unlikely to become a thing due to D&D 5.5e moving away from subspecies.
Your best alternative is using the Options system to set the subspecies as Options instead of being set as subspecies - this is the way new 5.5e does them now, such as 5.5e version of Elf or Tiefling.

but for 17 what if the spells are already in an option like for tieflings you can choose your spellcasting abillity but you get different spells based on your legacy???
I'm trying to update a species feature description from legacy to 5.5e for the spells it grants, but don't know what text needs to change. I've swapped out the actual spell selections for the 5.5e versions already. I just want to the details page to have the right spell windows pop up when hovering over the spell names
I am trying to add a feat that would allow Sorcerers to study/observe magic from various sources and "learn" those spells through DM decided criteria. I want the spells learned to appear in the character sheet and cost the typical resources, but I do not want them to count against the number of spells known by the class.
How can I accomplish this short of adding every individual spell as an option? When I tried adding the spell tables and checking "Is Infinite?" to allow multiple spells to be learned, each of them are coming up as "At Will".

You cannot homebrew a feat to use spell slots. While there are official feats that can it uses backend stuff we cannot access. Spells added through feats are either "limited use" (cannot be spell slots) or at-will.
You can do it as a subclass feature. Make a copy of subclass and then you can select the "is infinite", "counts as spell known: no" and "uses spell slot: yes".
