I would like to create a spell, however I want to do it without unbalancing the game. It would be magic dome, a dome that from 120 feet blocks arrow shots that can no longer be made in a straight line and must have an inclination. The spell works like an umbrella and protects the whole area for 1 minute/proficiency with concentration. The area is centered on the caster and a radius of 30 feet around them. So all arrows or bolts are only blocked, all other heavier or magic weapons can cross the magic field. What do you think of a spell level 2, which can be cast by all spellcasters except Druids and Warlocks. If not, what would be the most appropriate spell level?
Thanks, but I think I'm going to do a progressive spell start at level 3 like 5 feet around the caster, and him at level 3, and an additional 5 feet for each additional spell slot.
2nd seems reasonable. wind wall is 3rd level and causes automatic misses on "ordinary projectiles" while also having other effects, so a spell that only affected the projectiles being a level lower makes sense

Warding Wind is a 2nd level spell that seems to do what you want although with some added annoying things such as making anyone in its confines deaf and snuffing out all non-magical flames so I'd second it being a level 2 spell if the idea is just to prevent arrows and bolts penetrating the area, although I would probably word it as "ammuntion fired from a bow, crossbow or sling is prevented from crossing the boundary" otherwise anyone with a sling and a pocket full of rocks will nullify your spell if it just prevents bolts and arrows.

I would say for that area of coverage, level 3 at least.
