I am creating a Sub-Class Rogue based on the Arcane Trickster but when I used the Arcane Trickster as a template it did not show me how to limit they types of spells a player can choose from.
I am basing my caster spells on a Warlock and only a select type of cantrips per section below. How would I limit the specific cantrips they are allowed to pick from to only the following ones:
When you create a subclass, below the Description box in the Basic Information you have a series of boxes for defining spellcasting abilities.
The Eldritch Knight and Arcane Trickster subclasses should have the "Additional Spell List" field set to Wizard. If you set this to Warlock for your subclass then when you create a character with your new subclass you will be able to pick from the Warlock's spell list instead. This will give you access to all of the Warlock's spells from cantrip to level 4 (limited due to 1/3rd caster progression for Arcane Trickster).
If you want to use a restricted or bespoke selection of spells then you will have to define a spell list from scratch using the "Additional Specific Spells" box instead of populating the "Additional Spell List" field. I have done this for one homebrew subclass and have populated the box with ~100 spells from cantrip to level 4 including hombrew spells.

You learn three cantrips: minor illusion and two additional cantrips from the following list: blade ward, chill touch, dancing lights, friends, mage hand, message, or true strike. At 10th level, you may choose one additional cantrip from the above list.

Thank you for the defined explanation.
