So I am attempting to make a subclass for Ranger that is a dungeon delving type of character specializing in retrieving magic items.
I want one of their abilities in the subclass to remove the requirement of attunement restrictions, basically, the class will understand any and all magic items and bend them to their will and be able to attunement them no matter if it is only for a cleric, or wizard, and so forth.
Any way to do that, or is that overpowered? I feel like it isn't cause they still have to find the items to use them and if they are playing in a group, I am sure they would give over the Staff of the Magi to the wizard and then maybe be able to use the staff they did have.
So how would I set that up in the the create a subclass? I got everything else in there but this is is the one thing I can't figure out.

That sounds an awful lot like a Thief Rogue.
Use Magic Device is just text. The DDB character sheet doesn't enforce attunement prerequisites.

You are absolutely right! I forgot they had that ability already, I will just look into a different ability then.
Thanks for the information!
