With the homebrew items tool set, is there a way to make an item or weapon that scales with the player using it?
Ex. A weapon that grants an additional bonus based on Strength modifier.
I was hoping there was a way to have the tool set include the scaling bonus automatically incase the player forgets the additional bonus from the weapon.
You might consider creating separate versions of the items then as the characters level up, swap out the lesser powered for the greater.
This is what I would suggest, I think with the new update there may be a way to add a calculation based of character level but I don't know if it would work with what you had in mind.

"Where words fail, swords prevail. Where blood is spilled, my cup is filled" -Cartaphilus
"I have found the answer to the meaning of life. You ask me what the answer is? You already know what the answer to life is. You fear it more than the strike of a viper, the ravages of disease, the ire of a lover. The answer is always death. But death is a gentle mistress with a sweet embrace, and you owe her a debt of restitution. Life is not a gift, it is a loan."
