Hello! I was wondering if someone would like to help me create a Shaman King homebrew class. I have been tinkering a bit with Chatgpt for it and it just isn't coming out right, seemingly lower than other classes and not as intricate as I feel it should be. I was basing it off of the Paladin class given its reliance on charisma and wisdom.
Hello, if anything I think it would be half caster, fighters like Yoh Asakura don't really use any sort of magic, solely relying on their ghost's powers. https://shamanking.fandom.com/wiki/Over_Soul
Why do you want to make this? Is it for use in an actual campaign or just for fun?
Because if it is just for fun and to show off then most people make those classes over-powered for normal play, so you can go wild and give it whatever features you like. If it is for use in an actual campaign then you need to be a lot more careful about game balance and interactions between features.
If you want a class that barely uses magic, but relies instead on a companion (i.e. ghost), then I'd suggest starting with either the Artificer or Ranger and simply changing their primary stat to wisdom. Also have a look at the Pathfinder 2e "Summoner" class which also sounds similar to what you want.
