Do you like free character options? Of course you do! But, because monetization is more important than creativity, you have to work with the free rules. Maybe you were like me, you've seen the Competition of the Finest Brews and said, "Wow, that looks like fun! Maybe I'll try!" And then proceeded to spend a few hours trying to make something, before ultimately giving up. If that sounds like you, boy do I have some good news! I am starting a school of homebrew (you clicked on this thread, didn't you?) to teach beginners the basics. Now, I am no homebrew master, but I know a good bit and am willing to teach people.
This will essentially work like a play by post, but instead of playing D&D, I'll teach people homebrew. If you are interested in learning, please post that you are interested, and say two types of homebrew (e.g. subclasses, monsters, background) you are most interested in learning. Once I get enough people who are interested, I will provide further details to when I will be posting lessons.
(Note: Again, I am not a master Homebrewer, and you will not be when this is over. this is to show people the ropes of homebrew, not to teach them everything.)
I'm just your everyday dungeon master. Ignore that jar full of souls. And those bones in the corner are just props, don't worry. I'm definitely NOT a lich. Definitely.
