I'm trying to make a Subclass for Cleric. It has 3 features at Level 3, 1 at Level 6, and 1 at Level 17. It's just like the official 2024 PHB subclasses for when it has features. Yet D&D Beyond keeps telling me:
"Crusader Domain is currently too similar to Circle of Spores to share with the community."
"This homebrew Subclass does not have the necessary class features with the correct required levels."
Which is obviously bs and a glitch. Has anyone else seen this and how do I fix it?
There is a long-standing bug with the thing that checks the subclass feature levels where it's checking the list of levels for the 2014 version of the class and the list for the 2024 version of the class, regardless of which class you're making the subclass for. This is an issue for any class where the 2014 version got their subclass before level 3 (including Clerics). Try including dummy features at the levels the old-style subclasses would have them.
As for the Circle of Spores thing, this tends to come up mostly when there's a description on a feature that's either blank or very short.
I've tried making dummy features and it doesn't fix the Level thing. I've also made a Subclass for the 2024 Druid and shared it despite not having a Level 2 feature. Same goes for the Wizard Subclass I just recently created and shared.
Also the features are all longer or as long as other features for other subclasses I've shared. Nothing is left blank.
