So, I am creating a new subclass for warlock and wanted to know if these spells are good spells to have as a warlock. I have yet to make them public yet because i want to get other peoples opinions on them before i make them public. I want to know if they are too over powered or if the need to be nerfed.
A Yin-Yang symbol appears above your head. You point at one creature you can see within range, and the yin-yang symbol will spin and shoot white energy beam at the target. The target must make a Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, the target 1d8 acid, force, fire, necrotic, or thunder damage, user's choice, and you regain hit points equal to half the amount of acid, force, fire, necrotic, or thunder damage the target takes. On a successful save, the target just takes half damage of acid, force, fire, necrotic, or thunder damage rounded up, user's choice.
The spell’s damage increases by one die when you reach 5th level (2d8), 11th level (3d8), and 17th level (4d8).
* - which you take when you have not attacked this round and it is the end of your turn.
