I am trying (key word there) to create a custom sort of battle-shaman class that is sort of a breed of shamans from WoW, mixed into the fighter class for D&D.
what i WANT to do is create a bonus action ability, that can be activated 3 times per long rest, and grants bonus damage (scaling d6 of damage) of a certain element (fire, force, cold or lightning.)
I am unsure if the character app is capable of actually DOING this, but i think what i want is that when i activate the "elemental brand" it shows up under my attack actions with my weapon where it will say like 2d6+3 slashing damage + 1d6 Fire damage. Is this like a thing that can be done? or it is just something i will have to keep track of myself?
Here is the build i am "creating". i stole it from some other wiki and have made a handful of modifications.
the character sheet doesn't (currently) have a "status mode" though this is something that staff have said they want to add in the future.
The classic example of this is for a Barbarian to be able to activate their rage and the character sheet display the additional damage on their attacks while the rage is active.
For now, I suggest adding a custom attack on your character sheet to represent the attack with this ability.
