Playing a setting in a world with things that require unique skills and a few unique languages. Is there a way to add homebrew proficiencies to the character creator which I am missing? I know you can add them to the sheet at the end, as far as languages and tool skills go, but I'd like to be able to add actual proficiencies. Is there a way to do that, or even to make homebrew languages and tools so they actually show up during character creation as selections?
There is not any way to add homebrew skills, tools, or languages to the character builder.
However, you can add all 3 of them to a character sheet after it is made. Just look for little gears in the sections of the character sheet they belong.
I think that different world setting guides should allow new language options (as per the sourcebooks). I run all my games in the Forgotten Realms so it would be nice to add Damaran, Chondathan, etc. There are a lot of fun opportunities to expand the language options. Maybe add an option to a campaign for "setting"? Not sure the best way to handle this.

More homebrew options will likely be coming when the dev team work on the homebrew revamp. :)

You can create custom languages on the character page.
Sweet! Didn't see how that worked before. Thanks!!!
