My brother had an idea for a new Warlock subclass and I could use some help stating it.
The Short Version: If you've read the Warhammer 40k: Black Legion book series the main character/narrator Iskandar Khayon is a psycher who summons, beats the tar out of, and eventually binds fiendish creatures to himself. That't the premise of this subclass.
The idea then is to basically make a subclass for Warlock revolving around spells like Summon Greater Demon and Infernal Calling but my brother has other ideas.
I think of it like a reverse Warlock. Instead of beseeching powerful entities for power your forcing them to give you power and as you get stronger you can summon more and more powerful things to help you.
That's pretty cool. There were a lot of summoner prestige classes in 3e that you could use for inspiration. Alienist, Fiendbinder, etc. It's unfortunate that the conjurer subclass is kinda lackluster.

Any ideas? I know it's a really weird idea.
