I felt my usual Hex + Eldritch Blast combo a little bit boring and thematically not 100% fitting my Celestial Warlock.
So I tried to make a higher level spell with its own flavor. Technically I meshed up Hex with Bane and Bestow Curse.
So... before I even show it to my DM I could need some pre-reviews due to possible overpoweredness.
In the name of the moon I shall punish you! (Celestial Hex) Level 4 Enchantment 1 Bonus action 90 feet Concentration, up to 10 minutes
You place a curse on a creature. While cursed targets substract 1d4 from attack rolls, ability checks or saving throws. When you deal damage to the target, add 1d4 radiant damage. You can use your bonus action to move this curse to another target.
on higher levels: If you cast this spell using a spell slot of lvl 5, you don't need to maintain concentration. If you cast this spell using a spell slot of lvl 7 of higher, the duration is 1 hour.
You choose a creature you can see within range, you raise your Holy Symbol and cry out a divine dictum against the target. The specific words of your cry vary based on the source of your divine power, but it summons the source of it against your target. Until the spell ends any creature that hits the target with an attack deals an additional 1d6 Radiant Damage. Furthermore, anytime the target makes a Saving Throw against an effect that would deal damage it must also roll a 1d6 and subtract that amount from its total Save result. If the target drops to 0 hit points before this spell ends, you can use a bonus action on a subsequent turn of yours to place your dictum against a new creature.
At higher levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th or 5th level, you maintain your concentration on the spell for up to 8 Hours. When you use a spell slot of 7th level or higher, you can maintain your concentration on the spell for up to 24 hours.
