I want to make my campaign on D&D Beyond but we don't have the option for Homebrew Classes. Will we ever get classes Implemented as part of the homebrew system? I have a friend that wants to use the Blood Hunter class but we don't have that option yet.
It's not currently planned. However, staff have said that they are somewhat more likely to add select classes chosen by popular request, such as that one.

Are home brew classes and races really not planned? That seems like a very big omission to me. Unearthed Arcana seems worthless now. I would rather have races and classes than items and spells.

Races are planned. Subclasses are planned. Classes are not planned.

Both of those have been though UA at least once. I think Artificer started as a Wizard-sub and then was moved to its own class. Not sure on Mystic. But anything that shows up in UA is going through playtesting and if it survives will come out hopefully in a sourcebook. Xanadars Guide to Everything comes out in a few months and is going to have like 25 subclasses all from UA. So while nothing official has been announced several people I've talked to as well as myself are hopeful to see one or both of those in print sometime in the next year or so. And if it's printed and official it will end up on here.

Nobody ever said that Artificer & Mystic wouldn't be available. ;)
In the future, it is intended to allow you to create homebrew subclasses - adding entire new classes would be massively complex and beyond the scope currently intended.
You will also be able to homebrew subraces.
It's also been said that Unearthed Arcana WILL be officially introduced at some point in the future too.
I saw on a livecast from d&d beyond that they would like to eventually include the UA content as an option. I'm glad they are so open to user feedback. It sounded like a lot of tools are making their way down the pipe.
Adding Unearthed Arcana to D&D Beyond is going to happen - the main difficulty at this point is determining HOW to add it, in a way that satisfies the WotC playtest team and the community who will be using it.
I have faith that the team will find a way of doing this. :)
For subclasses, does that include the Gunslinger? (Matthew Mercer's variant)
That is something from the DM's Guild, the contents of which, while really nice in most cases, I do not think is in the plans to be added here in DDB.
Once the subclasses homebrew will be a thing, though, nothing stops you from recreating the Gunslinger as a Fighter subclass here in DDB :) (remains to be seen how to deal with the publication for free of stuff that is on sale in the DM's Guild here in DDB, but let's think about it when we have to cross that bridge, I'd say).

that would be bloody awesome.

That's a real shame, means I can't use dnd beyond for tracking our campaign as we have both an artificer and a mystic
