Using the Pearl of Power as a template, i would like add an interactive d20 roll on the character sheet for the purpose to have a chance to recharge the Homebrew Item earlier than the RAW "dawn" interval.
I tried Damage and Bonus Attack modifiers, but can't seem to get it to be interactive on the character sheet.
I know i can just have them roll a 1d20 on the dice roller in the corner, but trying to add that extra touch.
You can sort of fudge it with a custom action on their character sheet (Actions then Manage Custom in the top right corner).
Add the action as a general action, dice count 1, die type d20, set activation type to special, and check "Display as Attack", this will have it appear so you can just click the "damage" to roll a d20. You could also optionally pick a save type (doesn't matter what) and set a fixed save DC to display a reminder of what the player needs to get, e.g- an 11 for a 50/50 roll.
If you're going to give this to multiple players, or use the same idea with other items, then you could put the same action on a feat, so all they have to do is add it (Features & Traits -> Feats -> Manage Feats).
Both a bit clunky, but it's probably the best you can do for now if you want something clickable on the sheet.

Thanks!
You currently can't add actions to items on DDB. It will have to be text, and the dice roll in real life.
