I couldn't decide whether this should be and Artificer or Druid subclass (it should probably be a new class). The Artifacer structure makes more sense. Basically, I am looking to make a spellcaster that uses plants as a spell focus.
Both make sense. but it'll depend on what you're trying to do with the subclass and it's flavor.
If you went with the artificer for this, I'd probably use the herbalism kit as the subclass tool.
