Trinjya will move to the north onto that first landing. If she can see the Gazer that attacked Horatio, she will cast dissonant whispers on it. (Dc 14 wus save)
(OOC - brown L shapes are the bookcases. The 'line' down the map just to the left of the middle is the edge of the raised platform to the west. The larger circles are pillars, but it's just a low balustrade about waist high between each pillar - so you can see through them.)

Gazer Save: 4
The gazer squeals in pain as Trinjya's spell wracks its tiny brain with psychic pain. It turns and moves south gibbering in pain as it does so.
(@Kaldaras, I'll get you to roll your damage still because it'll be a close one as to whether you kill it in one shot or not. I'll wait to post its actions just in case :) )
((Sorry for the missing damage roll, here it is: 15 of psychic damage))
(OOC - all good :) )
Horatio and Trinjya watch as the creature flies away, gibbering and screeching in pain as it does. Then suddenly it slumps to the floor, dead.

"Haha, well that wasn't very nice." You all hear a warm, deep voice from the eastern side of the library. A voice you'd imagine a barkeep or a jolly old man having. But you cannot see the source of the voice.
Horatio will use his action to send Gandalon, invisible, towards the easternside of the library on wings as silent as shadow. His eyes glaze over as he steps West, away from the apparent sound of the voice, questing out through his familiar to gain an understanding of this new opponent.
"Neither was it, if you don't mind." He will call out, hoping to incite further response and to allow Gandalon a greater chance at success.
Gandalon doesn't see anything nearby as he circles above. However Perigord is able to tell that the voice you heard was in fact an imitation as it lacks any true feeling or emotion behind the words, just simply mimicking something heard before.
You all hear a high-pitched cackle as Perigord identifies to you all that the voice was mimicked. Perigord moves back around to head across to the eastern side the library to investigate the mimicked voice, making it partway across.
(OOC - I'll post an updated map today. Sorry I haven't done it sooner, been crazy busy trying to pack and clean ready to move. We'll play loose initiative for the time being until a gazer pops up ;) )
(OOC - made the map a little lighter to make it easier to see. Gazer corpse is marked on the map with little pool of blood around him, even though he wasn't physically injured.)
Samael is able to get an idea of where the voice and laughter came from (reddish circle on the eastern side), but doesn't see anything from that distance in the dark. From the darkness of the hole leading to the tunnel below, you hear another cackling voice, "Mimicry! Mimicry!" then fades off into more laughter.

Perigord moves over to Horatio apprehensively and readies an action to attack if an enemy comes close to either of them.
"Another gazer, perhaps?"
samael moves up, but still goes from cover spot to cover spot.
Roll a Perception check for Gandalon as he searches from his hidden spot above.
Edit: Perigord can roll an insight check to see if he can make out if the voice is mimicked or not.

samael holds position behind the cover closest behind morn and perigord, mace in one hand, blast ready in the other.
"That was a mimicry. I'll go get it."
Perigord moves steadily towards that area, readying an action to attack if possible.
You all hear a high-pitched cackle as Perigord identifies to you all that the voice was mimicked. Perigord moves back around to head across to the eastern side the library to investigate the mimicked voice, making it partway across.
