Trinjya throws her readied dagger at the gazer as it pops out of the hole, but the dagger skitters to the side as it barely misses the floating eye. Then suddenly she is pushed back by the forceful gaze of one of the creatures to the south, nimbly dodging out of the way of its icy gaze that follows close behind.
Horatio feels the gaze of the other creature to the south try to mess with his head, but shakes it off easily, and smiles confidently as the creature tries to frighten you with its devilish gaze. However, in focusing on that one, he misses the icy gaze that shoots in his direction from the gazer below at the pedestal and feels the cold sink into his skin before being thrown back into the bookcase at the wall, managing to catch his feet and land upright.
Seeing all this, Samael throws a blast at the gazer at the hole, having seen it pop up and Trinjya's dagger skid across the floor. The creature let's out a high pitched squeal as his blast hits it, but it remains afloat and glares at him with anger.
(OOC - Trinjya, Horatio and Perigord all have your movements and actions. Samael, you still have movement if you wish to move from your spot.)
Samael will move to cover 30 ft. on the right, where the stairs are. that should make the situation agreeable. besides, there's a mace for bugs that get too close.
Horatio will run for cover behind one of the bookcases, shaking frost off of his robes, and, forgoing any other action, order Gandalon to strike from the shadows at the nearest gazer in range of his movement!
Attack: 25 Damage: 7 and a CON 11 save throw or else take 13 poison damage.

Can we go over the gray lines with gray circles dotted on it? If so, Perigord leaps down onto a bookcase to break his fall, then down further and over to the gazer next to the hole. Keeping his back away from the hole (So he can't be pushed in) he stabs the gazer.
Samael runs up the opposite stairs after blasting the gazer near the hole. Perigord then vaults over the banister and runs along the bookcase before dropping down to stab the gazer that Samael had blasted, finishing it off. It squeals in agony as the floating eye drops to the floor.
Horatio runs around to find cover from the gazers to the south, ordering his familiar to make an attack. Gandalon swoops in at the nears gazer to the south and attacks, hurting the creature, but it fends off his poison. The large eye and the four smaller stalked eyes all glare at the familiar.
(Trinjya, you can change your action and movement if you wish, as the one near the hole is dead from Samael and Perigord's attacks.)

The gazer next to the southern bookcase bites at Gandalon. It then turns tail and disappears from view over the banister, east and slightly south.
Bite Attack: 17 Damage: 1
The gazer at the stairs to the south growls as it aggressively moves towards Gandalon (bonus action), then bites at the familiar as well, before following suit and disappears over the banister at the same spot the other gazer went.
Bite Attack: 6 Damage: 1
The gazer at the pedestal moves north 10ft so it can see Perigord and Samael. It lets loose an eye ray at each of you, then moves south and disappears from view behind the bookcases south.
Perigord: Frost Ray: Dexterity Save DC 12 or 8 cold damage
Samael: Dazing Ray: Wisdom Save DC 12 or charmed. While charmed in this way, speed is halved and disadvantage on attack rolls.
Finally, a gazer pops up over the banister, the one you think was making the original noises you were investigating. It sends two eye rays at Samael, then drops down and disappears from view.
Samael: Dazing Ray: Wisdom Save DC 12 or charmed. While charmed in this way, speed is halved and disadvantage on attack rolls. Telekinetic Ray: Strength Save DC 12 or thrown back 30ft.

Here's my save: 14
Samael, what's your health like? I can't tell if you need healing or anti-charm, and I can only do the healing, unfortunately. My turn depends on how bad Samael looks.
(OOC - it's ok man. I get the frustration. I rolled three nat 1s in a row on attacks once. So salty. The charm effect only happens once ie. doesn't stack, and only until the gazers next turn. Also, I'm not sure how you did it, but 0 damage - you must have missed adding damage dice in?)
Samael feels the high-pitched cackling in the back of his mind as the dazing ray fuzzes his mind, but resists being pushed back by the telekinetic ray. Likewise, Perigord also resists being pushed backwards.

Trin will shout out to Perigord.
"Fetch my dagger if you can."
Then she runs southwestwards and casts vicious mockery on the gazer at the back by the stairs. (Dc 14 wis save or 1 damage).
She then hides behind the bookshelves next to Horatio.

Trinjya runs to the bookcase next to Horatio and looks around the corner to cast her spell to the extent of its range on the southern-most gazer.
Gazer Wisdom Save: 14
It just manages to shake of the effects of your spell and cackles at you with a familiar high-pitched laughter.
(OOC - Perigord and Samael, gazers will go and then if you want to run with those same actions/moves, just let me know.)
