Seeing the skeletons Bree takes a step back and begins muttering a familiar incantation, tracing the lines in her dress. She hurls a fire bolt towards a skeleton.

Gruenic'shammer smashes through the closest skeleton, shattering bones and sending fragments showering over every adjacent combatant. The remaining skeletons seem oblivious to their comrade's demise.
Garavant tries to spot a skeleton that is vulnerable to his sneaky yet straight-ahead fighting style. He looks to repeat his previous maneuver, darting in and attempting to attack a skeleton that is either distracted by a nearby ally or off on its own where he can corner it before slashing and darting away.

Bree absentmindedly flicks her wrist toward one of the skeletons, sending a fire bolt in their direction, after which she continues thinking happier thoughts.

Garavant leans in closer to Gruenic, deftly striking at one of the skeletons still attacking the cleric, taking advantage of the confusion of melee in order to make a more effective attack. For once, he holds his position, not scampering around as he usually does.
Garavant slides into combat with the skeleton with his usual panache, but his swordmanship is lacking this time and he misses, the point of his rapier drawing sparks from the stone floor. He stands in place this time, not dancing from the battle, staying instead beside his comrade.

As Gruenic and Bree miss with their attacks, Lucy tries to help out by firing her magic longbow at one of the skeletons. This also misses, as the VGS seems to suffer a bout of collective aiming difficulty.

This time, he decides staying on the front line is just not for him. He gingerly steps back behind his better-armored half-orc friend Gruenic, taking care to avoid any attempted attacks by the enemy.
