Sila looks up from her carving to admire the fine Half-orc that just strolled through the door, with a brilliant V on his chest...wait is that? "Greunic! That armor does suit you! Smith and Wes (son) did a fine job on it! I'd say we could face anything now." She stands up to greet him as he moves towards the table. She holds up half a carved token, "Getting there, need more time on them though."
"That's amazing Gruenic! And Sila.. You're outdoing yourself once again."
Bree will join Sila when picking up the hides (to buy the healing potions mentioned some many posts ago). And seek some arrangements to sent the monthly fee to her guild (just read in the feature that's something she needs to do).
"Well. I think that's everything we need to do before we get back on the road again, isn't it?"
Long rest, so time for new portent rolls: 1211
For lvl 4 I added the lucky feat and I will try to figure out the new spells ASAP 😅
Sila has several errands to handle quickly in the morning but hopes without delay for starting out. Doing so before breakfast as possible. Gear exchanges, local purchases and fresh supplies purchased before leaving.
Hopefully some of the fur could be saved for the skins? She hopes, but may not succeed in making at least one token for each of the party members to present to them prior to leaving. Profile on one side, ear on the other of a wooden - coin-like token. VGS under the profile picture. They will not be perfect as rushed. But enough for them to use if DM allows.
Sila will also attempt to collect parts to complete a full Leatherworking and Weaver's kit and supplement anything she needs to keep her others up to date. She'd already possessed a playing card set - planning to learn someday.
She will try to identify the two vials of liquid taken from the barrels near the trap even asking people as she goes.
She returns to claim her weapons - having been sharpened by Smith and Wes(son) and see if they will buy the Longbow and 57 arrows collected and invest in 3 more sacks and change of clothes. She will likely find new items to practice on during the next voyage in.
Otherwise, she will refresh her waterskin, check her rations and buy fresh food for the road patronizing locals where she can, trying not to be overly flashy beyond their behavior in the tavern. But easily convinced by locals to buy their wares, etc. Weighed down slightly by fresh bread, cheese, meat that can be eaten on the first day and shared with the group.
Garavant arrives to meet the others a bit on the late side, lightly and almost silently skipping down the steps to appear in the common room as if from nowhere. The good night's sleep and bath seem to have made him even more graceful and nimble than before (though his clothes/armor are still a bit worse for wear from all the group's recent activity).
"Good morning all,"he says with a grin. "It is still morning, yes? I just need to refresh a few things, pick up some rations and whatnot, and I will be ready to head out on the road again. In fact, I just can't wait to get on the road again--the life I love is adventuring with my friends!"
Sila gathers her furs early from Tolm and finds them in excellent condition, ready for trimming and tailoring. She settles down in the common room with Bree and the pair set to work on their respective tasks, assisting and learning from each other until Gruenic returns.

Wes tries hard not to recoil from Gruenic’s well-worn chain mail: “Well, sir, the smell comes off in the smelter that’s for sure!” He opens the sack and gives a pleasant “Huh” before pulling it out to see properly, oblivious now to the adventuring essence that roils around it. “This is good chain, sir. I can sell this after replacing some of the links, most of the leather... I can offer you 38 gold pieces for it”
With the exchange complete, Wes rushes over to a sheet in the corner that is draped over a humanoid figure. pulling the sheet away with a flourish reveals a mannequin wearing Gruenic’s newly-adjusted armour – and it looks magnificent.

Back at the inn, Gruenic enters looking a formidable sight. Bree and Sila have completed the ear tokens, and they are fine pieces considering the time available; ears on one side and the owner’s profile on the other with ‘VGS’ inscribed underneath. Bree has started to embroider some new symbols on her dress but not yet given them a definitive form.
@Sila:
All your other errands can be considered complete, let me know if you need rulings on anything

Garavant’s lay-in means that he is a little later than the rest seeing to his own personal errands. Rations are best sourced from a dry goods store, like Tolm’s, so he heads there.
As he approaches the store, he immediately knows that something is up. The ‘closed’ sign shows in the door, but he hears conversation – heated conversation – occurring inside. Maybe three voices, all male.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Garavant slows his approach to Tolm's store, moving stealthily up to the building. He listens closely and, if there's a window tries to peer in surreptiously.
The door of the tavern opens. Lucy appears with her longbow in one hand and freshly haunted pigeons in another. The bladesinger left the tavern before dawn. She was grateful for the twins' hospitality, and felt sorry for the trouble she caused. To return the debt, Lucy went to get some fresh ingredients for them. " I like your new armor." She smiles when she sees Gruenic. " Garavant is our face. But when people talk about us, the first thing they remember would be you and the big V on your chest! "
( Lucy will accompany Sila and Bree to go to Tolm's. She is going to pick up her ration and leave two of her newly bought clothes. After her excitement cooled down, she found that maybe carrying four clothes is just too much)
Garavant finds a good position near the shop's corner, which has a window close by for him to peer in and listen. He sees two male humans standing in front of Tolm; they seem calm with crossed arms while the dwarf shopkeeper moves his arms energetically. Straining to hear, you pick up some of Tolm's words:
"Doubled in the last six months...bleeding me dry...any crime...just go and...up your...and tell them Tolm sent you"
The humans - one bald, the other blond - look unimpressed. The bald one picks up a cold weather jacket from a nearby pile and takes a knife to it, slashing the thick material all the way down the back.
Garavant decides not to waste any time. He draws up his hood and pulls part of his dark cowl up to cover his face. Old habits seem to die hard. He quickly loads his hand crossbow and readies it in his right hand, then creeps back to the front door. Still trying to be quiet, he tries the door with his free hand, hoping to find it unlocked.
The handle turns, the door appears to be unlocked.
(Passive Perception; there is a bell above the door which will clang unless opened really slowly. Need a Stealth check as part of any next steps if they involve staying unnoticed)
You are still outside the door. The counter is about 30ft away from the door with Tolm behind it, facing you, and the two thugs this side with their backs to you. Racks and shelves provide some cover on the way, about four feet tall.
Sila continues to eat and chat with her companions at the Inn not realizing the adventure unfolding at Tolms. She will show the others how the skins turned out and discuss fashion options, but otherwise fully expecting Garavant's errands to be quick and him return any minute at this point as not much time has passed yet.
Lucy talks with Bree about the pattern which she is going to add her longbow. She is thinking of some elven rune but can't decide which one is better. Suddenly she stops speaking. "… I feel I forgot something " Then she remembers. "Oh I haven't had my breakfast! " Lucy orders bread and the fish stew she missed yesterday, totally not realizing one of her friends' absence.
Garavant pauses for a moment, takes a breath, then pushes the door open while gingerly stepping to the side of the door. He’s trying to ring the bell and hide — so that the thugs will pause, turn, and see only an empty doorway, though he will be lurking right around the side of the door.
The thugs turn with a start and the bald one gasps, then growls. "Why didn't you secure that? We could have been disturbed - go sort it it" he says to his more hirsute colleague.
Padded footsteps announce the thug approaching the door, while the bald thug can be heard speaking to Tolm again "Just one minute, we'll sort this and then you can continue with your little story about why you don't need us"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Garavant maintains his position just past the edge of the door and readies his crossbow. He feels a twinge of guilt about taking someone out in such a manner, but then memories of smugglers shaking down the folks of his hometown come flooding back. He's seen their ilk many times before, and there's only one thing they understand--the pointy end of things. He gets a grip on his anger and channels it into his next move.
As soon as the man steps into view, Garavant lets a bolt fly from point blank range. This is no time for mercy...
Another Stealth check to Hide if needed 21 Hand Crossbow Shot (presuming Advantage) Attack: 19 Damage: 6 Sneak Attack Damage 9
Sila pauses a moment, mug of hot cider halfway to her lips and stares a the door to the Inn. She watches patrons come and go for a few seconds then shrugs it off, returning to conversation and food.
"That's a find set of gear. Excellent choice of art. Is it comfortable?" She asks to the fully geared Gruenic.
Just as the bandit steps past a clothing rack and level with Garavant, the bolt flies up from the hand crossbow and enters the man's head through the bottom of his jaw. The entire bolt wedged into his head, his eyes roll back and he buckles at the knees, falling dead against the shop door.
The remaining thug lets out a short cry of anguish, right before Garavant hears a heavy WHACK and a wet splat. Another crump accompanies a second falling body.
Looking over towards the counter you see that Tolm has produced a large club from under the counter and, taking his chance to follow your lead, knocked the other thug unconscious.
Gruenic smiles at Sila, "Yes it sure is! Wes put the bends and wrinkles in all of the right places, I love it! I especially love the V and my Lady's symbol on the front. A truly unique piece. Mmm, cider!" He looks for a piece of cheese and a nice warm mug of cider, propping his feet up.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Garavant's eyes go wide as his new weapon proves brutally effective. He's stunned (and a little queasy) at how easily he took the man out. A wave of guilt passes over him, but he shakes it off. He steps quickly into the shop and nods at Torm's comment. He pushes back his hood and pulls the cloak down so the dwarf can see his at least slightly familiar face.
He glances back at the slain man. "He was coming right at me,"Garavant says. "I had no choice, eh?"
Lookng down at the man Torm KO'd, he says: "I suppose we better tie him up. And a few questions. Who are these men? Part of a larger organization? Can the authorities here in town be trusted to deliver justice?"
If Torm says it would be good to deliver the captive to the authorities, Garavant will work with the dwarf to tie up the unconscious man and bring him in. As they work, he'll also ask "And what'll we do with him?" Indicating the dead man.

She is ever alert for little fingers however.
I can calculate all that should DM allows.
