Sila reaches deep and uses her last Ki point to take a Dash doubling her movement from 40' to 80' as her Bonus Action via Step of the Wind and makes one final slash at the beast hearing Garavant moving swiftly towards her.
As he reaches Sila's side, Garavant lets out a loud exhalation, feeling the effort from his all out sprint as he jumps in the air and slashes at the displacer beast with his rapier, using the monk's presence to help confust the monster.
"Remarkable Sila!" he says with a grin as he lands on his feet. "You truly move like the wind!"
Siladraws on her inner energy to sprint after the animal, attaining incredible pace and catching it as it flees. Straining every sinew to reach it and then swing her sword, Sila’s concentration lapses and the point of her shortsword clips a tree trunk, rendering the attack lame.

The beast's body convulses and becomes limp. Lucy kicks it's flank, pulling off her black blade and leaping back to avoid being trapped under the dying beast. In the back of her head, Lucy notices that Artemis lost the fleeting monster. She clicks her tongue and swears. " Stupid flying pig! You failed the only job you are good at! "
( OOC: If the displacer beast survives Bree's attack, Lucy will move 40ft and send another barrage of Magic Missiles. Damage:12 )
Bree sends a trio of arcane darts flying through the air, swinging high over the heads of her colleagues. All three seem to take different routes to their target, converging on the fleeing beast and catching it in a pattern across the haunch. The beast collapses as it runs, sliding across the dirt and coming to a stop by the trunk of a large oak tree.
(Congratulations, two beasts slain and one driven off. Please add 350xp each)
Sila, pleased to see the beast fall takes a second to catch her breath and grasps hold of the creature, trying to pull it back to the others. Then looks up to Garavant. "Do you think you could help me move this beast? I'd like to save the skin. But would prefer not to be separated from the group doing so. We'll also need to keep an eye out for the other one."
Soon you see Gruenic huffing and puffing, running toward Sila and Garavant, a shimmering spear floating behind him, that shortly winks out. "Did you.. catch... up to.. it? Everybody.... ok? This ... plate armor... is a ... *****... to run .... in." Gruenic is still breathing heavy, but he looks around, scanning for the other beast, making sure it is not circling around behind them.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Lucy catches up with the rest of the group easily thanks for her enhanced speed. Just then Artemis appears from the woods where the first beast fled. "Nice kill, Bree! Compared to that… " Lucy praises the halfling wizard and gives her familiar a mean look. Coming back from her fruitless chase Artemis looks quite depressed. The white owl hoots to Sila apologetically, then return to the first fallen beast and starts to feed on its eyeballs.
"Of course," Garavant replies to Sila as Gruenic arrives. Though the half-elf is not the strongest sort, he will gladly assist in dragging the beast back toward their site, after taking a moment to catch his breath.
Garavant glances over at the rather sad-looking owl as Lucy berates the bird. "Don't worry, Artemis!" he says, giving the bird a thumbs up sign. "You'll find 'em next time."
He looks about at the assembled group and nods his head. "Well done everyone," he says. "I have never seen creatures like this, but they seemed both fierce and magical." Almost as an afterthought, he adds: "Did anyone get hurt?"
Bree gathers herself and removes the sleep from her eyes. "Hope the other one stays away and there aren't more of those. I believe I ones read stories about similar beasts, just appearing a bit off of where you see them, it was in a story about a cloak with similar properties..." she says as she walks to the dead one closest to camp to study it for only a moment. Then she remembers herself. "Can I go back to sleep now? I'm really tired... Wake me up when it's my watch. I will study it then."
(( Apparently Bree really wants/needs her sleep ;P ))
The buzz of battle slowly seeps out of your blood and draws tiredness in its wake. You finish off any final activities you wish, then settle back down for your night's sleep. Thankfully, the surviving beast does not return, although the night is punctuated by occasional feline howls in the distance.
In the morning you break camp and set off towards the Stone Tooth, getting ever closer to resuming your respective quests there - whether it be Lucy's search for Sunneedle or your own agenda...
(Allowing time for RP and/or activities rather than zap us straight back to the mountain)
Gruenic helps Garavant and Sila carry the body back to the campsite, both of them. "I'd offer to help skin it for you, but I'm not too good at that sort of thing, I'd probably mess it up. I can't wait to get back to the Stone Tooth and help you find Sunneedle, Lucy! I think I'll do better in battle when I'm in close and they can't run away from me like that. I was amazed at your speed Sila!" After an evening of relaxation and talk around the fire, Gruenic heads back to sleep, resting and recovering.
((Process long rest now?))

"Thank you Gruenic, my Ki feels drained, but it's nice to know I can draw upon it like that. Should you wish to 'help' you could shift the weight moving them about so I can get the largest portions done and perhaps we could save and cook some of the meat? I'm not sure how good it will be, likely gamey, but the cooked meat should last us a day of food or so."
Glancing over and seeing the nearly asleep Halfling, Sila sets to immediate work on the cats trying to make the best of the skins that she can. Salvaging as much of meat that is not contaminated with innards as possible and roasting throughout the night (turns taken by varying shifts as needed hopefully?)survival6 Then returns to her meditation and finally to sleep.
With Gruenic help should I roll Survival with advantage? Also my +4 might possibly need to be doubled as I'm using it for Leatherworking which I am now Proficient in? Or maybe Gruenic can go to sleep as she seems to be doing fine...
Since the day the adventurers left Blasingdell, Lucy goes to pick flowers at the same hour every morning. It isn't a lie but not all true. She has other purposes. Looking back, Lucy found that the last scrying spell was cast during morning tea time for her mother. Kylie Von Weise Pflaumeis a very busy elf. Her every day is scheduled by the minutes. Also even though Kylie is an archmage, she needs a ton of spells to run her business. So if you are someone who watched her closely for decades, you can forecast roughly what time she would cast a scrying spell again.
Lucy carefully chooses a place where tree branches and leaves conceal the sun, mountains and anything that might reveal her location. It's a gamble. And today, she wins it. Lucy feels the familiar chilling touch on the back of her neck just as she expected. Then something she hasn't foreseen happens. Maybe it's because they are blood related, maybe it's because her mother arranged the spell, or maybe the intense hateness did funny things to her brain… Lucy sees her mother's image in front of her. Just like the last time she saw her, the matriarch of Von Weise Pflaume dresses herself with a snow white robe of archmage and wears a pale gold tiara on her forehead. Galatea, the loyal familiar perches on her shoulder like a hawk statue made from ivory. The image of Lucy's mother, lifts her eyebrow and looks right and left in the forest. Then she smiles. Her expression is a mixture of annoyance and amusement. Just like when it appears, the image vanishes in the air. Kylie isn't the type of elf who waste her time for fruitless effort. Lucy exhales deeply. This method can't be used twice. But at least this time… " I have wasted your spell, *****! " Grinning, Lucy leaves the bush and returns to her friends.
Garavant watches Sila for a moment, trying to ascertain how he can help. "This is not really something I am familiar with," he says, "but I understand there's more than one way to skin a displacer beast." When Gruenic offers to help, Garavant suggests that he will keep watch for a while before getting back to rest. Eventually, he drifts off to sleep, with visions of overflowing treasure chests and incredibly finely wrought dwarven artifacts dancing in his head.
Rising early, Sila puts her body through a series of impossible-looking stretches finishing in a cross-legged meditative position for several minutes. With a sense of peace and serenity, she gathers up what she was able to save of the skins and some gut she's lain out to dry for thread grateful to have more skins to work with. Once the skins and gut thread are secured to her pack, she wraps up a portion of the cooked meat for herself and divides up some for the others for travel leaving the rest out for breakfast.
Having any additional time, she ponders how to make use of the previously tanned skins laying them out to see if the largest pieces could be fashioned into a cloak asking for Bree's input to make sure her measurements will translate to a properly shaped cloak. Chewing on her breakfast and washing it down with a bit of water from her waterskin(refilled in a local stream given the opportunity), she assesses smaller pieces for use as pockets, pouches, or food wrappings.
Fully immersed in study of the tanned skins when all have awaken, she scoops them up hastily, packing them as the group is ready to go, rushing up and falling into line with the others.

If Gruenic is not in range, he will instead dash toward the beast in an attempt to get in range and attack.

Sila reaches deep and uses her last Ki point to take a Dash doubling her movement from 40' to 80' as her Bonus Action via Step of the Wind and makes one final slash at the beast hearing Garavant moving swiftly towards her.

Rapier Attack: Attack: 8 Damage: 11
Sneak Attack 12
Initiative order: Garavant 24, Lucy 17, Displacer beasts 15, Artemis 11, Gruenic 10, Sila 9, Bree 5
(Gruenic is 100ft from the displacer beast)
Sila draws on her inner energy to sprint after the animal, attaining incredible pace and catching it as it flees. Straining every sinew to reach it and then swing her sword, Sila’s concentration lapses and the point of her shortsword clips a tree trunk, rendering the attack lame.
(Bree’s turn, I have Garavant’s)
Sila grins back at Garavant when he utters his comment, "If only I'd stop swinging at it."
If Bree is within 120 ft (or 150ft before movement) she will cast magic missile (damage: 13 (Edit: oops should be 1 less)).
Other reality: She will stay at the camp and say to the others still near: "I will stay here and watch our belongings, you go get them!"

@Sila: Advantage for the help is fine, but Proficiency doesn't double your skill bonus - it adds your Proficiency Bonus (+3?)
