Wilfer will continue to wait for the pursuit, changing his previous plan of starting a brawl.
Once they catch up, Wilfer will move out, as himself, to catch the two watchmen, if they're still pursuing, casting enhance ability, Bear's Endurance, on the more tired looking one, "You keep after him, I'll try to cut him off and get reinforcements." He then runs off north to the designated meeting place by the river, but as he goes, he'll send any watchmen he comes across to join the pursuit, and incidentally take them away from the rendezvous.
With Rixton's hilarious and baffling distraction of the city watchwoman, Sharvon makes it to the square with the statue unscathed. He is feeling a bit weary and nowhere near exhausted. The watchwoman is back on his trail, 30 feet from him as he strolls through the square looking suspicious.
Sharvon's distance to the statue: 250 feet
Distance to Sharvon:
City Watch 3: 30 feet
Tug: 100 feet Rixton: 120 feet Savra and Vansic (in the square, near the end of the route): 250 ft David (in the square, near the end of the route): 45 ft Aravor (at the bridge beyond the statue, at the end of the route): 550 ft
Tug rejoins the route on that last leg, seeming just in time to see Rixton's bafflization. He compliments telepathically as he dashes by (so he gets to 40 feet from where Sharvon just was, 10 feet behind the watch?) Nice one Pendrift. How does the sausage get the kipper behind the dwarf in the ether?

Wilfer continues towards the rendezvous by the river for the end of the plan, spreading word of the theft as he calls loudly to any guards he sees, incidentally spreading the word to civilians as well. He'll duck through an alley near the river to disguise himself as a non-descript human man and wait by the wagon for Sharvon.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Sharvon blitzes through the crowded plaza, weaving around and between pedestrians with ease. The watchwoman on his heels fares much worse. She collides with a woman and then entangles with a second woman walking her dog. When Sharvon is only 30 feet from the statue, he encounters a fourth guard. The man steps around from behind the statue where no-one had eyes on him. He looks utterly shocked to see Sharvon sprinting towards him across the square but focusses quickly before the necklace thief reaches him. The watchman whips his spear around and jabs it at Sharvon.
Spear Attack: 16 Damage: 3
The spear is a huge miss and Sharvon is close enough to make the deposit in the gap under the statue before the guard can take another swipe at him. The only thing he has to do is sell the performance of ditching the necklace.
Performance (10): 5
Sleight of Hand (10): 3 + 5 = 12
Nobody catches Sharvon's ploy and numerous people, including one of the guards, crowd around the statue, peering into the gap. The fourth watchperson continues the chase. But Sharvon is much too fast for him. Out of breath but victorious, Sharvon escapes in the wagon waiting for him at the bridge. A few taunts at the trailing guard send home the message that this was really all just a lark.
The crew meets at the White Flamingo an hour later. Sharvon tosses the necklace onto the table for all to see.
"Dron is already calling for the city to pull up the statue," Vansic says. "It could happen as soon as this afternoon. the way he is yelling about it. David, Wilfer, you are picking up the replacement statue. Go now and have it on the boat within the hour. Tug, this rides on you. Sharvon, Aravor, Savra, you're all running interference. I will have the cart and horses ready."
Indeed, before suppertime, the city had engineers looking over the statue, slowly coming to the conclusion they were going to have to remove it from its base. The crew have been waiting for a couple of hours by this point, but things are beginning to happen. The engineers are beginning to assemble the equipment around the statue to lift and lower it. Now is the time to run through the plan one last time and ready themselves to steal the most famous statue in Foxshadow.
Shaking his head, 'cause that last bit went by in a blur and now the riggers on the scene way faster than he's ready for. Yeah I can lift the dingus away and put the fake in its place. It's gotta be unsecured though. Either: after they un-bolt but before the move; when they set it down; or after it's back but before the bolts are done up. Maybe that last would be best. Ain't subtle enough to pick it out of the crane sling, and what if they never set it down? I reckon there will be more attention right before they lift than after it's back in place - at that point the whole town will be abuzz wondering about the shiney that ain't there.
I need to be within 30 feet and have the wagon within 30 feet. And have no one looking - Bendover flying through the air would raise more than one eyebrow.

"I can help with getting people looking elsewhere." Savra adds in. "Should be enough, with what we are doing in combination, for you to do what is needed."
Wilfer thinks for a moment, "I can help with getting them to set it down, and I can cover a small area with an illusion to hide the switch, but you'd have to be right beside it. Does anyone have a good way of accomplishing that?"
Back in normal attire Sharvon leans forward stretching out the soreness. "Bloody running" he mumbles under his breath. "You all just tell me what I need to do, but by the gods if I have to run more then a few feet I'm gunna hit someone." His tone is well meaning but it's obvious he is down playing his soreness.

"I can do one better. I can create an extremely short-lasting copy of the necklace, that could be dropped, then vanish when they scramble for it. I also can summon a fey helper to create even more confusion," Aravor says, his sapphire eyes sparkling as the plan finally comes together. Purple, blue and white sparks fall harmlessly from the sleeves of his robes as he demonstrates, tossing a perfect replica of the necklace into the air. It glints as it catches the light before falling to the floor, where it lies for a few seconds before disappearing.
"If yours is semi real maybe we can even fight over it? I'll take a hit or two from anyone, besides Tug," Sharvon winks to his sparing partner, "that could draw a crowd."
Wilfer nods along with the flow of ideas, "Perhaps a small addendum, how many of you can make yourselves look like Sharvon here? Then we could have him pop up in a couple places with the necklace and race away all at once, draw the crowd in two directions. I can disguise myself it that fashion, but then I wouldn't be there to help hide the move."
I can makemyself look like anyone." Savra says with a shrug. "And it is not magical, so won't fall apart under a dispel magic or such." She glances at the others. "I should be able to add to the confusion as well, with some well-placed charms or even a mass fear to frighten people."
