Ecko wields his dagger in the air at Saeth as he flaps away. "Yeah, that's right! Come back and you die," he squeaks before shrugging and muttering something under his breath. He cuts a look towards Eralynn. "I'm intimidating, right?" he huffs, irritated at Saeth's words.
Now the fiendish man has left, Ecko begins to beckon the party towards T11.
The door is sealed firmly, as are the shrine’s four windows, and all are coated by an unnaturally resilient resin. A character can open a door or window as an action, but only by forcing it with a successful DC 20 Strength (Athletics) check.
Crystal slows and stops her chase as she sees that the cambion has decided to make a run for it to save his own sorry leathery hide. She walks back to the others "See?? It just takes a little bit of chasing and he flies away all scared like."she states as if she had done something but knowing that she really hadn't. She looks at Ysabell "So, you must be Ysabell... Eralynn here has been trying to find you all so that she could introduce me to you. I'm Crystal and it's very nice to meet you finally."
Ysabell watched as the fiendish creature fled into the distance. Seems it wasn't his time... she thought to herself before hearing a new voice next to her. Turning towards the red-haired woman, she looked her over momentarily (as she scanned her with both Eyes of the Grave for undeadness and Detect Evil and Good) before saying pleasantly, "Oh I did not realize we were looking for anyone else. We're not quite done here but you're more than welcome to join us." Turning in a swirl of clothing back towards the shrine, her Scythe now regular sized and "friendly?" looking, she joined Ecko and Garmus at the entrance and said, "I didn't sense anything in there but best be on guard just in case."
(I'm assuming Crystal isn't an undead. If she is, I'll have to amend above and I'm sorry ahead of time XD)
(As a note for Crystal, Ysa is a tallish elf with pale skin and stark white hair dressed in flowing clothing of dark purples & blacks. She doesn't care much besides a small pack and a strange looking (and slightly unsettling) Scythe that somehow seems to change it's size whenever you look away from it. Depending on the situation, she is either bemused/ nonplussed about everything or in angry terminator mode.)

Crystal cocked her head a bit to one side not really understanding Ysabell's reference about looking for anyone else "No, no, I'm here to help... the Avowed sent me to come help..." her voice trails off as Ysabell is already heading off towards the shrine. She looks at Eralynn and gives her a smile and a shrug as if to say 'I have no idea about Ysabell' and then says "Let's go, you know they are going to need our help... just like a moment ago when I had to chase off that fiend" she says in a kidding voice and then starts laughing and follows Echo, G, and Ysa to the shrine. She watches with hopeful anticipation as G goes to manhandle the door open... right before he starts trying to open it "You can do it!" she encourages.

Maybe he won't run away in fear from the door. Eralynn teased. Eralynn would never hurtfully joke at any of her friends, but she did like to make them laugh.
Garmus finally shakes off the fear that was gripping him. That was the most awful feeling ever and he never wanted to experience it again for as long as he lived. He'd run away like lily livered scoundrel for God's sake!
He moves towards the door, looking it over, trying to figure out the best way to go at it.
Maybe he won't run away in fear from the door. Eralynn teased.
Garmus cocked an eyebrow at Eralynn's comment but refrained from commenting, knowing she was jesting.
"Alright, here we go." He backs up from the door and with a running start, leading with his shoulder, he bashes into the door.
This crumbling stone building must once have been a beautiful shrine. Engraved images of Sune are still visible on the moss-covered stones, her face gazing down on the path by which the faithful would have approached. Stone doors at the front of the shrine appear to be sealed shut by some sort of thick, clear resin. A faint inscription is still visible above them:
“Welcome, dearest ones. Come find the beauty within you.”
A hole in the roof 30 feet above the statue of Sune offers another way in, and is just big enough for a Medium creature to squeeze through. The interior of the shrine has the appearance of having been abandoned after some sort of terrible confrontation years ago. Broken benches with shredded cushions are overgrown by thick fungi, and four large mirrors hanging on the walls have been shattered, leaving the stone floor covered in shards of broken glass. A grime-encrusted statue of Sune stands against the far wall. The statue’s expression might once have suggested smiling laughter, but streaks of dirt now make it appear as though she is weeping.
Behind the statue, a staircase descends into darkness.
Lighting the blade of her Scythe with a faint purplish glow, Ysabell noted the Shrine's condition and the stairs leading down below. About what she had expected. Then pointing towards the stairwell, she slowly approached it and began making her way down into the darkness.
(Keeping Detect Evil and Good running to keep an eye out for anything that might be lurking down there.)
Maybe he won't run away in fear from the door.Eralynn teased.
Crystal winks at Eralynn and giggles ever so ligthly.
Garmus cocked an eyebrow at Eralynn's comment but refrained from commenting, knowing she was jesting.
"Alright, here we go." He backs up from the door and with a running start, leading with his shoulder, he bashes into the door.
"You can do it"Crystal had said right before G made his run at the door. G hits the door breaking through it easily. Crystal bounces in through the now broken and splintered door and heads over to G and grabs his arm right at his bicep and gives a little squeeze "Nice going G! You are strong!"
Crystal looks around the room taking in the scene... a scene of destruction and possibly terror "Oh my god, what happened here?"she says in a barely audible voice. "It looks like something truly terrible happened here years ago." She starts crunching across the floor through the broken glass of the mirrors"Oh, that poor statue of Sune, it looks as though is crying with all the dirt and soot that running down its face. I can see why, I mean look at this place.... it's a total mess! I would cry too if this was a shrine dedicated to me." She continues crossing the room towards the back where the stairs are and follows Ysa and Eralynn as they start down the steps. Eralynn turns and gives a nervous look, Crystal reaches out and places a hand on her back "It's OK sweetie, whatever happened here happened long ago and I'm sure there nothing much down there."She gives her a warm smile as they continue down the steps.
Ecko, ever a bundle of erratic energy, wanders in with the same joy he did everywhere - even the Shadowfell. He casts a quick look around and places his feathered hands on bony hips. "Well, this is strange," he mutters, entirely confident in the party and their abilities. He trails behind Ysabell, also throwing up a light over his dagger and still maintaining the detect magic ritual.
Thank the Gods! Garmus thinks to himself as he easily busts open the door to the shrine. His ego didn't relish taking another hit by failing to get through it.
Crystal bounces in through the now broken and splintered door and heads over to G and grabs his arm right at his bicep and gives a little squeeze "Nice going G! You are strong!"
Garmus huffs, and maybe flexes a little when Crystal grabs his bicep. "Well I'd better be! I'm a dwarf for God's sake!" He takes in the scene before him. A battle or a just wanton destruction? Shaking his head he follows the group, taking up the back.
"It's OK sweetie, whatever happened here happened long ago and I'm sure there nothing much down there." She gives her a warm smile as they continue down the steps. When Crystal smiled, Eralynn smiled, but deep down, Eralynn was not as brave as she appeared to be.
Down the stairs is a dimly lit chamber. A soft white glow rises from a square pool set into the floor of this chamber. Detect magic is pinging. Torn cushions, rugs, tapestries, and clothing have been piled in one corner as a makeshift bed, while twigs and scraps of deadfall form a simple campfire nearby.
You can hear soft weeping in the darkness. A presence shifts in the darkness on the opposite side.
"The coven has sent you down to torment me!" the female voice declares - a mixture of anger and sadness in her tone - A woman emerges from the darkness, hissing, but she's not hissing, the snakes on her head are. Everyone needs to make a DC14 CON save to avoid getting petrified/restrained.
Ecko startles at the sound. He puts his hands up in a nonthreatening manner. "Woah, woah, woah - we're not with the coven, we're actually trying to end them, you know, and look for someone named Sylvarie? Have you seen her? Oh, those are- oh-"
Crystal stared in the direction of the voice wondering who could possibly be down here accusing us of working for the coven of hags.
Con: 15
She looked intently into the darkness and was taken both by the odd beauty and hideousness of the medusa, slowly freezing her in place "Oh god, I ca....." she went completely silent. Quickly before she is completely petrified she uses her Magical Guidance and expends one sorcery point to attempt to undo the petrification
New Con save: 11
She takes a deep breath and quickly looks away and at the pool as she is released from what she thought was certain 'death by petrification' "Oh my god, that was close"she mutters as her chest heaves taking in the amazing yet foul smelling air.

The door is sealed firmly, as are the shrine’s four windows, and all are coated by an unnaturally resilient resin. A character can open a door or window as an action, but only by forcing it with a successful DC 20 Strength (Athletics) check.
Ecko slaps Garmus on the shoulder. "If this works, I'm responsible, just so we're clear." Ecko grants Garmus a little extra oomph with a guidance.
Ysabell watched as the fiendish creature fled into the distance. Seems it wasn't his time... she thought to herself before hearing a new voice next to her.
