"Yes. Before communications with the grippli tapered off, people who returned to Candlekeep from a trip to the grippli trading post reported that a small band of good yuan-ti had taken up residence at an old temple site where the grippli village used to be located. These serpentfolk, unlike others of their kind, were friendly toward the grippli, and the frogfolk are helping them excavate the location. However, recently, one of the last people from Candlekeep to depart from the grippli trading post reported that the place has been overrun by frogfolk fleeing their village, which was invaded by a second group of yuan-ti - this group being evil. These monsters are vicious and cruel, the exact opposite of the earlier visitors."
"What this means is that there are two group of yuan-ti at the village. When you get to the grippli trading post - which is really now a refugee camp - Pond Mother will explain further."
"That is all good to know and we will be sure to find the Pond Mother when we arrive. Thank you for the information." Turning to the party, she added, "Do any of you need time to prepare before we depart? I'll only need a few moments to check on Little Nameless."
(OOC for Crystal: Little Nameless is a cat that the Party rescued during our first adventure. Ysabell is still working on a name XD)

The grippli refugee camp is on the coast, due west of the Cloakwood and roughly 90 miles north-northwest of Candlekeep by sea. The trip takes a day and a half (36 hours). As the coastal mist clears, you get your first good look at the grippli camp. Ramshackle shelters are clustered around a large permanent building. The low rumble of many voices softly croaking can be heard as your ship pulls up to the dock, where grippli bearing weapons are waiting to meet its passengers. Mitor Jans and his ship remain at the dock while you go ashore. He suggests that you seek an audience with the grippli’s leader, Pond Mother, to learn firsthand about what has happened.
The central structure of the camp is a fortified stone and mud-brick edifice, decorated with the preserved carapaces and claws of giant crabs, where commerce is normally conducted. The ground around it, usually clear of construction, now houses a host of makeshift dwellings, and business has slowed to a standstill.
Ecko makes extremely disconcerted faces at the crab-like homes. He shakes his head. Nope. He wanders towards a grippli at random and fishes around for a donut. "You. Take us to the Pond Mother. We're here to help. Oh, and - could you do me a favor? Try this and tell me if it's better than seafood. I'm trying to prove a point," he requests, piecing together a few voices he's heard.
The random Grippli you've walked up to looks at you curiously, especially since you're offering food. It takes a bite of your donut, but doesn't seem to either like it or hate it. It leads you to Pond Mother.
Ysabell left the ship and took in the refugee camp around her, the faintest hint of a frown on her face. She did not like how the Grippli had ended up; and based off the feeling she felt from her Goddess, she did not approve either. Once Ecko had found someone to lead them to Pond Mother, she followed along quietly towards where the leader was staying.
Ecko trots along, apparently slightly disappointed the grippli didn’t give any indication of preference between the donut and seafood. His momentary loss of enthusiasm is quickly replaced with curiosity - he openly wonders if there’s a Pond Father, and in any case, whether little puddles after rainfalls are supposed to be called Pond Children.
Garmus waited, arms crossed, a bit of a scowl on his face at the conditions of the camp as Ecko spoke with one of the Grippli. He followed along with the group as they were taken to this Pond Mother, some sort of leader apparently.
Crystal looks around at the refugee camp, the conditions were awful, she was aghast by it "This is awful"she murmurs as she follows along behind the rest

The refuge camp's leader, who holds the title of Pond Mother, is an aged grippli warrior. In very poor Common, she speaks to you.
She informs you that a small band of yuan-ti arrived at their home over a month ago, claiming to be followers of a benevolent deity they called the Scaled Mother. They were friendly, the opposite of other yuan-ti that the grippli have encountered and fought with. These yuan-ti expressed interest in excavating and restoring the previous site of the grippli village, a mile from its present location. Pond Mother saw no reason to refuse them, since their motives were seemingly innocent. But then, two tendays afterward, another group of yuan-ti came on the scene. These yuan-ti attacked the village, killed any frogfolk and good yuan-ti who tried to resist, and captured the grippli and good yuan-ti who weren’t able to escape.
She asks you all for help, telling you that the bad yuan-ti have been eating their eggs and tormenting the few grippli who remain in the village. Nothing has been heard from the friendly yuan-ti since the larger force of evil ones descended on the village. Pond Mother fears that either they have been disposed of, or they have been imprisoned in the old temple that lies north of the village. In any event, saving the eggs, or as many of them as possible, is the grippli’s main concern.
Their old home is about 5 miles south of the grippli village, which is most easily reached by sea. Mitor Jans can transport you as far as he can, then drop you off just outside the crab maze that borders the community before turning back south.
Crystal listens as the Pong Mother explains the situation "Oh my gosh" she says quietly "That's like eating someone's kids.... we gotta help these poor Grippli"
She looks back at the Pond Mother "Crab Maze? What's this Crab Maze?" she asks

Bong Mother explains that the crab maze is a collection of low-to-the-water walkways, ranging in height from just above the water to being submerged by up to 2 feet. It's really the only way into their old home because any other way, you're wading in the water with the crabs.
"We will help them." Ysabell said confidently to Bong Pond Mother and Crystal, "As well as remove the invaders from your home. Before we go, please tell us where we can find your eggs. If there any remaining, we will protect them."
Garmus nods in agreement with Ysa, but winces inwardly at the thought of being on walkways in the water. Heavy dwarf with heavy armor and deep water were not a good mix. Nothing to do but get this done though.
Pong Mother lets you know that the Grippli eggs were last seen at the brood pools. It is unknown what the evil yuan-ti have done to them. That remains to be seen. The Grippli home is about 5 miles south of the Grippli refuge camp, which is most easily reached by sea. Mitor Jans will transport you to the entrance of the crab maze.
On the map I just uploaded on Discord, Mitor drops you off on the walkway that's touching the word "MILES" where it says "5 MILES TO TRADING POST" I'm not sure why they call it a trading post, it's really a refuge camp.
Columns of stone with platforms built around them, connected by rickety-looking gangways that touch the sea or disappear beneath the frothing waves, are arrayed before you. In the distance you can see the marshy shore. Dark shapes move under the surface, and flashes of red carapace draw the eye. This is not a safe place.
