Essie's radiant flames burn around Xolkin, but she seems to resist the damage and takes only 2 points. What is making this woman so tough? Meanwhile, Torem pierces one Zhent follower for 5 damage, but the other two guards miss their targets.
(We're ready for Round 2, starting with Daerthe, Xolkin, Bramble, and Helena.)

It is highly likely that Bramble is dead. With an AC of only 11 and Xolkin getting 3 attacks, the wildshape will drop at the first 6 hp that are lost. He will revert to human form and excess damage will be deducted from his 13 hp. So he’s unconscious and making saving throws at 19 hp lost, Gone forever if he loses 32 hp to Xolkin.
Scenario 1: First death saving throw: 11
Scenario 2: Bramble falls out of bear form but doesn’t fall unconscious: Bonus Shillelagh, attack Xolkin. Attack: 23 Damage: 12
Scenario 3: Xolkin fails to hit my pitiful AC of 11 or decides to attack someone else. Bonus combat wildshape rejuvenation: 1, multi attack against Xolkin, Bite Attack: 22 Damage: 6. Claw Attack: 26 Damage: 26
Daerthe pops out of the inn long enough to fire at Xolkin. Squinting into the annoying sunlight, her arrow flies over the half elf’s shoulder. Xolkin laughs and turns toward the largest threat near her. She swings her scimitar at the brown bear, attacking twice. First: 19 Damage: 8 Second: 25 Damage: 11

I'm getting a "Dice rolls not yet available for this section" message with the last post. But the first time I refreshed it, I was able to see the rolls. I'm not sure why it isn't showing now. The first hit was successful for 8 damage (I'm pretty sure.) And the second hit was a critical for 11 damage. Unfortunately, that was just enough to bring Bramble to 0 hit points.
With the first swing, she cuts the bear down. She is rather surprised when its body transforms immediately into a white-haired man in a faded green cloak, armed with a simple wooden shield and staff. She shrugs and her second swing strikes him across the neck and chest, and he falls to the ground unconscious. Nodding with satisfaction, she turns her dagger on Alara: 14 Damage: 5
Bramble makes his first death save, taking one step toward stabilizing. Helena sends a beam of bright blue light toward Xolkin, but it goes wide.
The four Zhent followers cheer as they see one enemy fall and others fail to harm their leader. The black-haired dwarf fires her crossbow at Sphyboe: 18 Damage: 3. The red-cloaked dwarf fires at Alara: 22 Damage: 9. The twins attack Torem, one with his crossbow (9 Damage: 5. ) and the other with her scimitar (5 Damage: 2).

Ryndar shakes his head, less from the pain and more out of frustration at the unnatural toughness of Xolkin. He refocuses his longbow at the dwarf who sunk a bolt into his shoulder unleashing a sudden barrage of arrows towards the combatant.

Attack: 14 Damage: 6
He moves to take cover near one of the embedded rocks from the cloud giant attack, girding himself for another onslaught.

Ryndar grimaces in frustration and turns his attack on the red-cloaked dwarf on horseback. The first arrow pierces the dwarf’s belly, the second hits him in the throat, and he falls off his horse, dead. Backing up behind a giant’s boulder that rises a couple feet above the ground, Ryndar uses Second Wind to heal back up to full.
Meanwhile, Kella turns on Kaelen, slashing twice with her short sword. First attack: 11 Damage: 8. Second attack: 21 Damage: 6. Only the second attack hits, getting past Kaelen's shield and slashing his arm.
Essie's eyes widen as she sees Bramble go down. This woman is seriously doing damage to them - yet not taking much of anything herself? Her mind races for a moment before her expression calms. Her hand waves at Bramble first, casting Spare the Dying on her unconscious friend. Then she sucks in a breath and calls upon her god, channeling divinity through her holy symbol and directing it straight at Xolkin. "Try hitting her again!" she calls out. "It should work this time!"
Channel Divinity: Path to the Grave - As an action, you choose one creature you can see within 30 feet of you, cursing it until the end of your next turn. The next time you or an ally of yours hits the cursed creature with an attack, the creature has vulnerability to all of that attack’s damage, and then the curse ends.
Sphyboe dives for the ground and sits up after a quick roll, the honey colored skin glowing under the direct sunlight when a few drops of sweat highlight her oval face. She seems embezzled at the extent of resistance from Xolkin, taking some time to search for any clue exposing vulnerability that can be exploited to her advantage.

Essie mutters and gestures at Bramble’s unconscious form. His wounds don’t heal, but the blood loss slows, and he stabilizes. She then grasps her holy symbol and narrows her eyes to channel the power of her god to make Xolkin more vulnerable to damage, at least for one good hit. Meanwhile, Sphyboe rolls out of the path of the crossbow bolt that was aimed at her, sits up, and stares at Xolkin. She thinks through various magical effects that might make someone more resistant to damage. Nothing comes to mind. Xolkin drank a potion at the beginning of the fight, but Sphyboe can think of no potion that would have this kind of effect.
The guards continue to assault their targets, Torem against the female twin (Attack: 18 Damage: 2), Kaelen against Kella (Attack: 22 Damage: 2), and Alara with renewed strength against Xolkin (Attack: 19 Damage: 6). Torem's foe is barely standing, but Kella dodges Kaelen's attack. Alara aims and is sure she will make contact with Xolkin, but the Zhent leader parries the blow just in time. The attack misses.
(Round 3: Daerthe is up, followed by Xolkin and Helena - Bramble is stable but still unconscious.)
Daerthe will pause in her movement long enough to take aim at the enemy that Torem is fighting, seeing him as an ally for the time being. She does her best to take aim in the sunlight and fires.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Daerthe pauses, takes a deep breath, and fires at Torem’s opponent. The arrow flies over the guard’s head and pierces deeply into the pale human’s chest. Her eyes go wide in shock and she drops off her horse to the ground, dead. Startled, Torem turns to see the source of this arrow and nods at the drow in the shadows.
Xolkin, also seeing her minion fall, grits her teeth and strikes twice at Alara with her scimitar. First attack: 23 Damage: 8. Second attack: 24 Damage: 5. As Alara blocks the first swing with her shield and dodges the second, Xolkin begins to growl in frustration. She follows up with her dagger. Attack: 19 Damage: 6. Her dagger finds its mark, plunging into Alara's side, and Xolkin's smile returns.
Bramble continues to lie on the battlefield, unconscious and unaware.
(Helena is up, followed by the Zhent minions and then Ryndar. Remember, the next successful attack on Xolkin should do more damage, due to Essie's Path to the Grave.)
b Helena commands her owl to distract the resilient leader of this group. She then sends a blast of cold at them, hoping her companion's curse will allow for more damage this time... Attack: 16 Damage: 13

Helena’s owl familiar swoops down around Xolkin’s head. As the Zhent leader tries to wave him away, Helena again raises her hand and mutters a brief incantation. A ray of blue-white energy connects with Xolkin’s shoulder, burning into her with cold that seems to spread across her torso. Essie’s curse seems to work against Xolkin’s resistance, and the attack does 6 points of damage. You can see that she has taken some hits, although she still stands strong. Meanwhile, seeing that two of their comrades have been killed, the two conscious Zhent minions spend their action shaking the two sleepers awake. These two wake up and spend their turn picking up their weapons, standing, and taking in the current situation.
By the way, the horses of the two dead Zhents have wandered away nervously from the fight. The yellow and aqua tokens represent human Zhents who are still on horseback. The white token is for the black-haired dwarf who dismounts to wake up the red-headed human.
(Ryndar is up, followed by Kella, Essie, and Sphyboe.)
