I think it would be fair to get an animal handling check from you but considering this huge Griffon just rolled a nat 1 on it's Wisdom save, I'd say you could put it in a diaper, call it a monkey and name it Bob and it still wouldn't give an f.

So yes, you have enough control over it to ride the Griffon like a boss. Plus I always hated that the hypno-gaze just made them a bit sleepy.

"Aren't you a beauty..." Hessta says as she runs a hand over the griffin's beak. She continues down its flank, admiring the powerful body.

Bari starts petting the Gryphon intensly. "WHo's a good lion birdy thingy, you are!"

The Griffon begins to wag it’s tail. It is becoming evident that it is just an overgrown puppy.

"Cora said they'll take first shift."

The Griffon proceeds to lick Cora’s face.

Cora will scratch the griffin under its chin

"I will take last watch." Hessta says as she settles her bedroll on the ground near the griffon. "Wake me when it is time."

“Ok”
