Petcan nods in agreement and rolls up his sleeves, "I think I can help with that," he says and begins to use a combination of [Tooltip Not Found] and fire bolt to do a sweep of any remaining purple wraith remnants.
Being a Life domain cleric and not a nature Druid, Randall does not ponder too long the implications of exterminating a unique species of plant, even given its aggressive behavior. Still he says, “If we find seeds we should keep them in storage—perhaps if someone wishes to raise seedlings from the husk they can be taught to get along with other species and maybe even provide a useful function in our new society.”

"Subduing and relocating the adult plants may be a little difficult, to say the least. Those are plants afterall. How would you knock out and handcuff a plant? I think we best proceed to destroy all the adult plants, and then hand the seedlings to the colonists with instructions on how to try to domesticate them - one or two at a time, just in case it doesn't take."
Bow doesn't care about what's going to happen to the plants and agrees with whatever is decided in the end.

Zenodor is happy to go along with any group decision on the plant. Incinerate or domesticate, it makes little difference as long as the natives and colonists are safe.
”A short rest would seem in order before we head off to the next nest, say the one to the west? That was easier than I expected…Perhaps these plants have different levels of maturity and combat power,” agrees Randall with the others.

(Yes, that was easier than expected. Did anyone even take any damage? Maybe the next nest will contain the parent-plant from which these things keep spawning? The natives did mention that they keep coming back, so presumably they must breed/multiply)
"Ignis, can you cast your spell again to talk with animals? I feel these nervous-looking birds may be a useful source of knowledge before we approach whatever killed all the other animals?"
"Given that these appear to be plants, perhaps we best burn the corpses and any seedlings that may be around. We would not want them to re-grow later"

Tempe listens and says "Stop! I suggest we find another place they can live without hurting people. It seems to be our main theme."

"That sounds absurd to me, but I am hardly an authority on plant husbandry." Petcan laughs a bit and backs off of burning everything.

Tempe shrugs "We have a resource of knowledge back at the village. She controlled them."

( He did, yes. Hence why he was not here for the combat)
(But at this speed, we'll have killed all three lots before he will reach the soldiers to ask them to deal with one or two.
Onwards. Don't mind for which one)
Let's head west, to the one between the natives and the hole
