"Appointed a new goblin king? They're lifting the siege and going home? Well, I can't say that's a bad thing but to be honest I've always had the feeling something more was going on. I didn't think this was all goblin driven, even with the black dragon breathing down their necks. It's almost like you're waiting for the other shoe to drop, if you know what I mean."
General Tescher (hope I got the name right) takes a sip from his drink.

"A rightful place awaits you in the Realms Above, in the Land of the Great Light. Come in peace, and live beneath the sun again, where trees and flowers grow."
— The message of Eilistraee to all decent drow.
"Run thy sword across my chains, Silver Lady, that I may join your dance.”
”Well, it seems their forward commander was that same black dragon, now a dracolich. We destroyed its physical form, but liches are notorious for their phylacteries—until we find and destroy that, we are still at risk,” adds Randall.
Zenodor listens, and when the opportunity offers itself asks: "General, do you have any information or intelligence about who or what might be behind this? I had hoped that someone in the city might have enough contacts or other means to find something. We would be happy with any clue or trail to follow."
"We are also going to look for the phylactery, so if you have any information, or know of a place in the city where we can find such information that would be great help. Rest assured, we are not done helping this city, but for now this hopefully brings some relieve."

The General informs you that the merchants and wizards would be more capable in helping you with the Phylactery. They leave the military matters for him to deal with and now thanks to the siege being lifted he can recoup and refocus his efforts on the defense of Laurentiis. He is grateful for all you've done and sorry but he really doesn't know a lot about Phylacteries himself. He has heard some of what you already know, that if it isn't destroyed the lich, or dracolich, can come back again and again.
(I will get back in the swing of things within the next 12 to 24 hours.)

As the morning dawns it reveals the Goblin Horde moving away from the city of Laurentiis like the tide retreating from a beach. Even though they celebrated the coronation of their new king last night they are also eager to return to the 'normalcy' of what their lives were like before.
The General will answer any more questions if he can but your meeting with him lasts little more than an hour, if that.
If there is any downtime things you want to take of (less than a day) or get a start on (more than a day) let me know, otherwise you are just waiting to see what the church turns up on Neforakx or Phylacteries?

With the goblins retreating and the scholars looking into the phylactery, Randall spends his time healing the injured people of the city—especially those wounded in its defense.
if needed, he will also pay the Battleforce Angel for his help—and maybe ask it about the phylactery if the scholars get stumped.

Pepin will start by going to the docks seeing if there are some wealthy merchants that might have info regarding the Phylactery, and afterwards will go for a university/wizards tower or whatever.

(Let’s plan do meet up at the tavern/inn for dinner and a place to sleep after our individual pursuits today.)
(Agreed.)
Zenodor volunteers to arrange the lodgings for everyone while the group is out on their errands. He will try to find a nice comfortable inn with rooms for each of us. For the evening, he will have the innkeeper prepare a proper feast with lots of nice food and wine, to celebrate the lifting of the siege. Presumably, now that the siege is over there will be no more need to ration food or anything of the kind. He will also ask the Innkeeper to prepare some basic fare for any locals who are needy or have not been eating enough, and will pay for this.
Is the feast for the group? Just multiply a hearty meal for one by the number of total people to feast. Round up to the nearest tens place in gold. That should cover it.

Banquet @10gp each x5 of us = 50gp. Z will then spend the same amount of money again on providing meals for the poor and needy of the neighbourhood. 50gp total / 3sp for each modest meal should feed about 166 people. (prices based on basic rules. I have removed the 100gp from the character sheet)
Z thinks that although this is probably a slightly extravagant use of money, how often does one get to celebrate the defeat of an entire army - by peaceful means no less - and the lifting of a siege!
Pepin agrees on the meetup aswell, before going towards the docks.

As news, and gossip, spread through the city about the end of the siege more and more people venture back out into the street, albeit tentatively at first. It's just a slight increase in outdoor traffic as opposed to what the last while as seen but it is noticeable.

After doing some things within the city you almost begin to feel normal again as everything is slow to return to the status quo. You all meet back up and partake of the feast prepared by Zenodor and about half way through the feast you all are all a little surprised but mostly pleased to see an old acquaintance join you.
"Oh, ah, yes indeed, it is so good to see you all once again. I have been almost as busy as you have, what with seeing to all my diverse interests. Well, yes, ah, of course my efforts have not been as heroic as yours of course. But, ah, oh yes, I must say that it has taken more time than gold to track down some of the knowledge and accomplish some of my things I've had on my plate recently, so to speak."
Mynash comes sweeping into the room, seeking to get his hands on a drink as he joins you at your table.
"Oh dear, oh my, but you must catch me up on some of your most recent deeds. Oh well, yes of course, just so we're on the same page going forward, and well, of course, I have things to share with you as well my friends."

Having already blessed the feast and thanking Zenodor for making the arrangements, Randall is feeling almost jovial this evening.
