Harold fiddles with the lock for a few minutes before managing to pick it.

The moment the lock is undone, you all hear a loud noise like a mortar firing, and you see Harold flung about halfway to your bunker

A tiny speck of extremely bright light about the size of a quarter is launched into the air in an arc.

The wind seems to be blowing towards your direction. Whether it is blowing fast enough to carry it the 300 yards is uncertain.

You have one turn before impact. You could roll perception to guess its impact point, try to disable the projectile, or just prepare for the worst.

Harold is still operational, so he gets a turn as well.

OOC - So the ball of light shot through 5 feet of ice?

We’re dead. Everyone run as fast as possible in a direction of your choosing. I will run towards the town.

DRAWF PISS!!  Ari bellows. 

Ari uses his whole turn to DASH (60ft) toward the ocean and dive beneath the waves.  

OOC - Since we are on the beach I'd assume I'd hit water within 60 feet, but maybe not.  

Cassandra will try perception:  +520

and then based on that either run, or just cast bless on herself and anyone near by.

 Ceesh hops out of the safety of the bunker and makes a mad dash 40 feet back to the town.

 You can tell that it won't be a direct hit on the bunker, but the ball is still hurtling towards you. Everyone except Ceesh, Ari and Harold have Bless now.

Cassandra will take full cover in the trench, unless there's time for her to run 30'.  :)

OOC-  we need a picture-  (I picttured the trench to be 10' as well, in the sand, and the ice wall was between us and the 10' deep pit.    I thought that the "bomb"would impact the people opening the box, not random people hundreds of feet away!   :)

If she can't get "full cover" in the trench from her guess where the blast will hit, she will run away the 30 feet (since she already took her actions) and try to dive into the sea.  :)

You can't tell from your guess whether the trench is safe enough, and the sea is 40 ft away.

Alright , not sure the pit is safe enough, she runs as far as she can towards the sea, and drops into the sand, arms over her head.  :)

Harold will grab the contents from the box and then will slam the box shut.

 Right before the ball hits, Ceesh says a quick prayer for protection to Meme, the god of laughter.

The ball of light hits 30 feet in front of the bunker, and explodes in a massive fireball, blasting sand and rock shrapnel everywhere.

Everyone roll a DEX saving throw, and tell me your location to determine if/how much damage you take from the blast/debris.
