 Yeah, no. He’s not crawling anywhere. Unless someone stops “Birdie”, he will draw his gutting knife and disembowel this troublesome mage.

"NO! What the! Birdie! NO! Bad Bird. Shoo, Shoo, birdie. We need him ALIVE. So go take your murder knife somewhere else for now."

As “Birdie” steps in for the kill, he halts at the Captain’s orders. Instead he draws a net and ties the mage up tightly, rolling him over and over to ensure there’s no slack in the constriction. He sits on top of the mage and draws out a filthy kerchief and jams it in the mages mouth.

”Aye aye, Captain.”

With his arms tied and his mouthed gagged, the robed man is unable to cast any spells and is now completely harmless. As the chaos settles, you hear clanging bells as the city's fire brigade nears the scene. 

"Going to be hard to search him for his spellbook, and other items..." Robin says with a frown at the tied-up mage, with the netting completely covering him from head to toe.

The armored figure lays in the burning building, completely engulfed by fire, but it does not burn.

The fire bells are getting louder, and they can't be more than a minute or two away.

Cass steps in as well to carry the mage.  " eere, ye needs a girls's strong arms t help ye out. .... Captain  Ceesh-  lets make sure we not be leavin any loot in that contraption!" cass yells.   She's burned, bloodied, but seems in fine spirits.  20 with advantage..

is anyone on our side still down/ hurt?  if so, she will also do a healing word.. 

"Let's just get gone." Robin agrees, ready to move out.

With that 20 roll and help from the others, you are able to sling the robed figure over your shoulder and hoist the armored corpse onto a nearby cart.

Where to next? You could go back to the Stone, you could continue on to the shop, or you could rest up at the nearest unburnt tavern.
